@@WhisperItLoudI found they have a newer version called WLBU75 and the tips for that are interchangeable with P2C. But the tips they offer for the WLBU75 are only a few. They don't make a variety of tips like the larger tips they used to make for the P2C I wanted.
@flat-earther I'm literally using a bernzomatic tip in my even older portasil right now. He's also wrong, it does work as a torch but you need to complete the circuit for the arc by reinstalling the collet without the tip in it. You need to look for keywords like butane solder tips obviously. Just widen your search as normal society has done with the globe to further gain knowledge.
Looks like a quality made product. Like you mentioned, I've never really seen many tools made in Ireland 🤔 Great job with the review 🔧
I think this product is discontinued. I bought one a few years ago and I need to buy tips for mine but seems like it's impossible to get them anymore.
I just bought one locally last week. 🤷🏻♂️

Most gas soldering iron tips are just about the same shaft and flange size and will fit in the collet and work
@@r1w3d well I find that hard to believe because I researched the tips and didn't find others but if so please show me.
