you forget to mention to provide secondary power to the vehicle while removing the battery, otherwise you lose power to the computer and all your settings.

All you checked was the hardness of the plating. Proper way to do this is grind down to the steel and then push, not pull the tester.

Perfect walkthrough! Just completed my own change and it went smoothly. The only thing I would recommend is be careful with the little red clip when you pull the wires apart- if you push too hard, you can bend the plastic and make it harder to remove, so just a little push is all that is needed. I'd spend a little more and get a MIG. Even alot more. This is just a toy gimmic. I've welded since the mid 60's. Get a oxy acetylene torch before buying a electric welded of anykind

The automatic stop feature for safety really holds it back to for any little reason it stops not happy with it and after a few months, my battery quit working

They don’t sell just the o ring? I’d buy like 20 of them o rings if they aren’t more than $1 a piece or so, use them on our customer’s oil changes for a while. Kinda dumb it can’t just be a copper crush washer like every other manufacturer

Great video, thank you. Using the unit for first time and air blows with a strong kerosene smell that eventually over powers my work space. I ran it outside for a while trying to give it a chance hopefully burn off the odor but it still smells pretty strong. Is it possible to improve this? I'm using it my my tee company workspace and don't want my shipments to smell like kerosene.

A lot of people that complain about Bauer do one of two things. They’re either trying to use 1.5 or 3 ah battery on impact like a moron when you need to use a minimum of a 5ahbattery or they’re trying to use a 3/8 to half inch adapter and robbing the power from the tool people don’t understand that those lower powered batteries and adapters lower way too much power from those tools and it’s not Bauer specific I have the same issue with my little stubby half-inch Dewalt if I put on a 5ah batty and a proper 1/2 inch 21 mm deep impact socket I can takeoff the lug nuts off of my truck torqued over 160ft lbs But if I go ahead and put on a 2ah battery and 21 mm 3/8 deep socket with a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter on the exact same gun I can’t even takeoff the lug nut torque to 80 foot pounds on the exact same gun Batteries and adapters literally make the tool

Seems spot on for quick emergency fixes on the go
