Made a friend from Egypt through a video game about 15 years ago. Egypt was going through one hell of a tumultuous time. The one thing I learned, in my soul, was the people aren't the same as the projection we get from the news or the state. He was a kind man. I've lost contact with him, hopefully he's doing alright.
I have heard the same, that people in these countries that are have been categorized as evil are just like you and me. They want to have good lives and they love their families. Years ago, I saw a video that someone made featuring a man and wife in Iran who were bus drivers. He drove the bus during the day and she drove it at night. They were just regular people who said they, themselves, held no animosity towards other people in the world.
The experience you just gave me through this video has been the most beautiful piece of art I witnessed in the past few months. I am from Bulgaria, so we share with Albania quite a lot in a historical context. I am so glad you were able to present the beauty and specialty of the Albanian nation and nature! YesTheory is such an inspiration for young people all around the globe and I am so proud I share a generation with you guys! You are proving our generation has something big to offer the world. All the love from Bulgaria!
Much love and respect for you my Balkan brother yes we did suffer enough we have so much in common it’s devastating that we even have borders between our countries.
The patience and understanding you showed whilst helping him to get down from that bunker, tells me everything I need to know about you. You are a rarity in this world, if only more people were like you.

I've been to Albania. Three years ago. And I was there in the summer. And it was so hot!! As a Swede, it was too hot and me and my friends "melted". But the albanians where so nice to us and they cared so much about us. They knew we where from Scandinavia, and that we are use to colder weather. They where so sweet!! ❤️
And just like that, 85 years from now there is going to be an elderly Albanian woman telling everyone she meets about the time Shaggy and Scooby-Doo came to visit her when she was a little girl. And her great-grandchildren will think, "Poor grandma. Her mind is gone."
Thomas please do whatever you can to ship a camera to that wonderful little girl. My heart is full from watching your interaction with her. Reminds me of the interactions I have with children that are pure, genuine and uncomplicated.

Just about two years ago I made a friend in college from Albania, and judging how kind she is and what she’s told me of Albania and her family there, Albanians strike me as very generous, humble, and kind with a great sense of community. Not to mention there seems to be lots of history I’d like to learn more about and the country itself looks beautiful! I definitely would like to visit.
Thank you for yet another incredible video. I have a suggestion! If it is at all feasible and safe for you to do so, could you please visit East Turkistan (Xinjiang, China) and do some coverage there on the current genocide and mass cultural assimilation? I am from the region and due to being ethically Uyghur and Kazakh, I haven't been able to return to my homeland in over a decade. We have such a rich and complex history, and our people are some of the most hospitable people you'll ever meet. There is a lack of media coverage despite the huge humanitarian crisis. And it's gutwrenching to see my culture being erased so silently. If it feels aligned with your mission at all, I think it would be a huge honour to have you there. Thank you YesTheory for all that you do 💛
The way they chose to build their places of worship is just incredible. That kind of thinking breeds unification and acceptance between religions. Albania setting a wonderful example :)
In Kosovo (91% of Albanian nationality), only in the North-East of Albania, There is a place where the church and the mosque share the same courtyard, which as far as I know, is the only case of inter-religious tolerance.
You are talking about Ferizaj they literally share the same yard. However the same can be seen all over where Albanian of mixed faith live. I am from Prizren the Mosque the Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church share the same square too so people can intermingle. Take me for example a Woman from a Muslim family married to a Christian Man and we have countless cases like mine in our families. It's the Albanian culture that makes this possible, we were raised to believe in God however how you worship in him it's something personal between you and God. People think Albania is so religious tolerant due to coming out from Communism but that has nothing to do with communism and it's all about Albanian culture. You see this interfaith exchange wherever you have
I was obsessed with Albania when I was younger, fascinated by such a beautiful and troubled country. Uniquely situated in Europe, yet they haven’t the economic strength they should. There’s so much potential for this country.
Thank you so much for visiting this beautiful country! I’ve been here for three years making videos trying to promote this country as a tourist destination. It’s so nice to see more and more well-known people come here and experience it the way I have!
Albanians are such beautiful people, the language is gorgeous as well, it's an amazing country. Also their flag is badass and I freaking love it. I wanna go someday
Better for us to help them out, I don’t think little villages like that have a ton of money. Plus, with the differences in cost of living, it’s going to be more expensive for someone in a poorer country to buy something than someone in a richer country. Like for example, buying an iPhone in Albania is about 5% of their yearly salary, compared to about 2% in the US. So it’s better for viewers to crowdfund, or even yes theory themselves could donate one as Thomas suggested, buying a camera would only be a small fraction of their budget.
We are also heading to Albania in just two weeks and can't wait to explore the country! We have tracked down some of the craziest Cold War ruins. But we also want to dive into the culture. Your video shows that the people and landscapes over there are amazing!
Albania is an amazing place. We've loved visiting many times and have found lifelong friendships there. We found that people are so hopeful and open to new things. We can't wait to go back again for a month or more next year.
Albania is literally the best country, when i visited we met a random couple, who decided to show us around. They took time out of their vacation to drive us around to nice beaches, crazy bunkers, different city's, and so much more. Later we learned that the man was muslim, and the woman was christian, which is so inspirational, mixing religion like that is something we have newer seen before, normally religion separates people, but Albania does that differently. Also if you are thinking about going there, then you will be pleased to know that everything is very cheap in Albania. As someone from Denmark i can defiantly recommend visiting Albania. Especially the southern part, which is where i have been.
Yeah, we don't identify by our religion. Everyone has the right to believe in whatever god they want and that's how its been for hundreds of years. We have a saying that goes like this "First comes our motherland Albania, then after that, it doesn't really matter as long as our priority is the brotherhood among Albanians"

North western Greece ? It’s populated with autochthonous Albanians and you’re probably one aswell, we are not greece sister country but Greece took part of where Albanians lives and that brings the similarities
Considering the fact we have had fought many wars together and against each other, Sparta, Albania, Greece, Thracia all have had similarities and I hope to see peace between Albania and Greece cuz it is stupid to see neighbors fighting for politics.

Thank you YesTheory for all that you do 💛
Please 🙏
This could be an amazing video

Yes Theory create a way so we can donate. It's not much, but I've got $10 on it. She's a beautiful soul.
Highly agree- i would love to donate to a go fund me for her!
