Tropical Update, Eastern Gulf Storm Potential June 11-16 As Big Caribbean Tropical Wave Moves North?

- ***Tropical Update...The tropics are heating up as we are watching multiple tropical waves making impacts across the Caribbean & into Central America. One such wave could be strong enough to potentially become our first tropical storm or subtropical storm somewhere in the Northwestern Caribbean or Eastern Gulf sometime in the time frame of Jul 11-16. Forecast models are indicating that increased activity in the western Caribbean will potentially lead to a storm. I have all the details on your tropics, from the Atlantic, all the way to the western Pacific!
***Severe Weather will be calming slightly, however parts of the Ohio Valley, Eastern Great Lakes, Southeast Canada, and the western Gulf Coast could be seeing some stormy conditions.
***Major Weather Pattern Change...A cooler stormier weather pattern will be setting up across the Northeast, Great Lakes, Ohio Valley, & Southeast Canada these next 5 to 6 days, I have the complete forecast on what you are likely to see, as plenty of rain and storms, with cooler temperatures are expected.

Very informative, we had a lot of rain here in Houston today, hopefully we stay with power when these storms come closer, our power grid was hit hard with a tornado a few weeks ago. Some people still don’t have power.

Hoping most of the severe weather will continue to stay north of your area this next week, as I saw how devastating that tornado was to your power grid in and around the Houston area. I can't even image with that heat & humidity, with no power. I am watching your area for potential heavy rain from a tropical disturbance from June 16-21. And already there are three waves that came off the coast of Africa usually we see around 55 to 65 waves a year but I do want to remind everybody that not every wave becomes a storm. And I have a bad feeling this could be another top 10 season. And with the number of name storms forecasted the threat for landfall probability goes up. At this time I’m forecasting 4 to 6 impacts/landfalls in the United States. If you haven’t prepared yet, you still have time, but I would advise you to get prepared by early to mid August when the meat and the potatoes of the season come when we see those waves come off the coast of Africa usually Senegal. There has been talks of making a potential category six hurricane. One place that’s also vulnerable is Key West Florida to a beautiful area but it’s only a few feet above sea level if God forbid they had a category 4 or 5 Hurricane it could be submerged underwater. and because of rising sea levels due to climate change, some cities could be underwater by the year 2100.
Great advice! It is amazing the number of tropical waves lining up in the Atlantic, as of late. I agree on landfalls as so many storms curve back out into the open Atlantic. Need to stay vigilant and I think before long we will likely need that 6th category for hurricane given every year the Sea Surface Temperatures get warmer.
What’s the weather for Seagrove beach next week I am going
Great question, I do think the worst of the weather will hold off for Seagrove beach until late Wednesday evening, Thursday, into Friday with that potential tropical disturbance late week. Only a chance of showers/storms each daily afternoon Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday with highs right around 90 with lots of humidity. Concern is for Thursday (Jun 13-16) when plenty of showers & thunderstorms associated with our tropical wave will push north toward Seagrove beach and much of Northern Florida late week into next weekend where the potential exists for 2 to 3 inches of rainfall. Watching closely for you, but the first half of this week looks mostly good.

Severe weather day after day in Louisiana. Power was out last night. My yard can`t be mowed and grass is two feet tall in places.
It is crazy how much severe weather your region has seen lately, hoping your area gets a break soon from it. Growing season is intense this year.

Great question, Watching Georgia very closely later this week into next weekend as the potential for tropical moisture with our Caribbean tropical wave makes it into the Eastern Gulf of Mexico. Heat & Humidity will also be building significantly.

We may have tropical storm Alberto in the making potentially as our new invest 90L crosses Florida into the Northern Bahamas. It will be close to Georgia, but not close enough to cause any major issues. I see a whole parade of tropical waves however after June 17, one of which could move toward the east coast of Florida and Georgia later on next week. Have to keep close watch, as I think this season will be a very backloaded season, slow to start but once it gets going, very difficult to taper off.

Good morning my friend, definitely looking at rain after noon for you as that big trough moves in from your west and pushes lots of humidity in. Very rainy wet days are ahead.
I have hurricane preps but it`s never enough when the power is out for weeks in the Louisiana heat and mosquitoes. I did get a sealed mesh mosquito dome to sit in outside and a tent to sleep in if I can`t charge my solar batteries for air conditioning. If it`s cloudy I`ll need to conserve battery/generator power for my freezer or to use a small fridge for cold drinks. Or I may throw the freezer food to the buzzards if I can`t cook it and focus on staying cool.
Very good point, the power out for weeks after a hurricane is one of the worst aspects of these storms. Definitely good to have some good battery/generator/solar backup.

Maybe maybe not because the state of Texas has tried to predict to keep away from being truly torn apart because of sneaky wrongful worship
For now at least through June 20. After June 20 though more tropical waves start pushing westward toward Texas which could eventually put Texas in the paths around June 25-30.
