The fact you love Tame Impala and own my favorite album AND Two Door Cinema Club made me subscribe instantly. I was obsessed with Undercover Martyn
yayy welcome!
You are a natural when it comes to talking about records! Good job. You have a nice eclectic collection.
Aww thank you!!🥰
Collecting vinyl is definitely a journey and your tastes and collection methods will evolve over time. Cool video, keep up the great work 🤙🤘👍
thank you!
I stumbled on your video (thanks YT algorithm)
What impressed me the most is you've been collecting 10 years and only have 30 albums.
That's a feat.
When I was a teenager, I only got vinyls (because they were cheaper than cds, and to be honest I liked the sound better).
when I moved abroad for work, of course, I couldn't bring anything that bulky with me.
So, after I came back, some years later, and settle down, I got back in to the hobby, got a the equipment (used but good enough) and also for used records. I think I reached 30 albums in like a week (but at $1-2 a piece that's ok..)
If they're in relatively good condition, a nice wash and dry, will make them sound pretty good, sometimes I was surprised an album that's 40-50 years old sounded that good.
Now, I probably own about 600 (I haven't counted) and I try to limit myself, but sometimes it's not easy. And it takes a bit of space for sure.
So, it's ok you don't have that many. What you have, you love and you listen to them regularly and I think that's a nice way to enjoy records.
For the sleeves, inner and outer, I buy mine at Music Record Shop (can't put the link just google, and I'm just a customer this is not sponsored, they're plenty of options anyway). I like them, they're good and inexpensive plus they're made in the USA.
What I do (and I think a lot of people do too) is put the jacket in the outer sleeve (like you do) and put the record in an inner sleeve and then slide the inner sleeve on the back of the jacket. That way, you can get the record out easily without having to put out the jacket every time. Plus if you want to show a nice color record, for ex, you just grab it and flip it over and there people can see it without you having to take it out.
For static, I recommend the Milty Antistatic gun (again not sponsored). if you don't have to much problem with static, you can do without as it is an expensive tool. But, if you're like me in Nevada, it's a life saver.. (and it also works on anything with static, like clothes that clings to you as you get off of the car, I've used it for that many times)
I stop my rambles here as this comment is already way too long and wish you all the best in your vinyl journey
Love your collection!
Thank you!
Спасибо за видео. Очень интересно и красиво.
Nice vinyl collection Honour, I like when someone gets albums from different artists/genres and not just the same artists only 🙂
thank you!
You’re so pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Maybe you could do a reaction to something you haven’t heard before every so often if you wanna do more music stuff?
that's a great idea! I would love to
We def had the same vinyl collection from HS ❤❤ tumblr era core 🖤🖤🖤
The best!❤️
Very good little beauty!Put your record player on a regular shelf!!!Because it will make a bad sound!
omg this is so cool! I’m surprised you don’t have thousands of subscribers. Hopefully one day I could have that many vinyls 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Hahaha thank you!!🥰
Vinyl. It's like fish or sheep. It can't be pluralised :) Records or LPs is good though lol
@@domfjbrown75 ok
I've also been collecting for 10 years and my collection started with Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die: The Paradise Edition" and "Ultraviolence", both of which I bought at HMV before it pulled out of Canada.
My collection recently hit 460 records, and I listen to a variety of genres in variable degrees: Jazz, Dark Jazz, 80s Pop, some current Mainstream Pop, Alternative Hip Hop, Synthwave, Alternative Rock, Progressive Rock, Post-Rock, Core (Hardcore, Post-Hardcore, Metalcore, Deathcore, Mathcore), A LOT of Metal and Soundtracks.
I'm jealous I need Lana records! Wow 460 is so impressive!!
I have a lot of vinyls. Mostly 70s rock a 10 Taylor swifts. I have all of the Taylor swift original albums except folklore
cool!

aww thank you that means a lot!😚
Forget all these people, and familiarise yourself with the Fiona Apple discography. People like Billie eilish mention her as a major influence anyway
