Greetings from England 🏴 🇮🇪 👍
The "so uncultured" guy seems really well read and travelled.
My Irish grandma used to always tell me that if I didn’t wash behind my ear, potatoes would grow
Never knew this😂 by the way are you English ?
If my finger nails were dirty, my mother used to say "you could grow potatoes under those nails"!
Or if the inside of your ears were dirty the comment "were u digging potatoes"was always said to me by my granny
Context: She didn't mean potatoes would grow behind your ears, she meant potatoes in general would grow.
Hhh😂🎉
I’m English but wish the world was one big Ireland full of the Irish.
No wars just the craic.

We've no problem with English people!
As an irish person id say we dont hate the english. I absolutely love the britian accenr. And we do love potatoes 🥔
Im english from london and i love irish people just as much as my fellow englishman
Irish here, lived in Scotland, made more English friends then Scots. The average English person has literally nothing to do with what happened in Ireland in the past. We speak English, have the same humour, music, fashion, sports etc. as the British (English/Scots/Welsh). The tories, Ulster Loyalists and the Reece Moggs of this world will always be our enemy though, Im afraid, and a certain element of British society will ALWAYS look down on us as inferior.
Yep,
As an English person who moved and went to school in Ireland, there was an Irish perosn who blamed me for his family being slaves 600 hundred years ago,
I'm not joking.
As will a certain rome controlled portion of the irish.
And im sure the irish arent to blame for what theyve done to britain in the last 100 years maybe.
@@freneticness6927 yes they are, groups like the IRA were justified in fighting in the 1910s, 1920, when it was against solider and police etc, but killing civilians that had no involvement in the conflict is not justifiable.
Just look up the Warrington bombing, the IRA bomb a building that killed 2 children, not soldiers, not politicians, just kids, in what way is that justifiable?
It isn't, both sides need to take accountability for what they did wrong.
@lunkycultist5519 then why only mention the I.R.A in your comment? Plenty of innocent people where killed by the British, that includes the military, the Police, Ulster loyalists etc. Heres an example, the quinn brothers and unfortunatelythere are many more. By the way the I.R.A didn't exist in the 1910's and during the war of independence the I.R.A where just as ruthless as they where in the recent troubles, if the old I.R.A had the weapons then, they would surely have used them as the Provos did. The old I.R.A disappeared alot more people than the P.I.R.A ever did and that's just in Cork. It was all a very sad time and actions taken on all sides where bad and hopefully never repeated, but there certainly should not be a hierarchy in which the Provos where worse than anyone else as that just factually is not true.
Our love of a good cup of tea brings us together.
