Glad UFC gave Erceg the title shot over Mokaev. On the same card Erceg put Schnell out cold, Mokaev was on his knees playing the knee game with Perez in a fight he could've honestly lost on damage.

Imo Erceg is the only guy at FW who I would give a chance to beat Pantoja lol. Mokaev would get destroyed by Pantoja its good for him

Erceg will be the next sleeper build fighter. Dude has power in both hands and is well rounded in all aspects.
Meh we haven’t seen much of his grappling so we gotta assume pantoja has the edge in that department. I can 100% see Erceg being a challenge for pantoja in the stand up tho, his speed and boxing combos are flawless and Pantoja defends with his face a lot of the time.

The amount of stuff that had to go right for Erceg to get the title shot can’t just be luck. Morano looked off and lost to Roval, Amir got injured, and Mokiev got sick on fight day and had a terrible performance. Erceg has clearly been up to something and I wouldn’t be surprised if Pantoja shows up with multiple different injuries

Crazy how Erceg is rank 10 fighting for the belt already.
Kind of sad that Schnell never put his defense together. The guy is lightning fast and really doesn’t telegraph his shots. From completely still to landing a shot in no time at all and follows up with pretty intelligent combos. His issues are all defensive or a lack thereof. No head movement (the twitch-turn doesn’t count), hardly any blocking or parrying, and for whatever reason stays in the pocket long after he’s done throwing. Schnells had these issues for as long as I’ve seen him in the UFC. Till he fixes them he’ll be a can crusher.

I loved how quiet it was during the Pandy times. You could hear the fighters shit talking each others or hear the corner men. Of course the loud cracks from strikes are heard so much better to. I wish they would bring back more fights like these.

I dislike that the fighters can hear the commentary during the fight. It would be distracting and there was one fighter that commented how he won based on what was being said because they were analyzing what he needed to do to win and turn it around. It's cool to hear the fighters talking and the corners giving directions but overall the crowd gives energy to the fight and gets you hyped along with them when something happens. Without that it feels pretty sterile as a fight. I don't hate the quiet fights but I don't prefer them.
