I know most people know this, but in any movie, show, video game the music has to match what the creators are putting out and you can really tell the difference when time is put into the music, it just adds a whole different vibe with whatever it is. My mother went to school with Joe hisaish’s daughter and like a year ago I got to go his concert and see him again it was magical getting to sit there and hear him play his music! He is really a nice and is very proud of his daughter!

Completely in love this arrangement; all 3 component pieces are on point and brilliantly translate the feel of the score to piano. First two thirds, adapting Legend of Ashitaka & Journey to the West, are perfectly blended together--so much so that now I can't imagine playing them any other way but as one. Transition to the last third, Mononoke Hime, is admittedly pretty awkward. But, that's more than made up for by the fact that it's the best piano arrangement of that piece that I've ever seen. Every other piano version of Mononoke Hime that I've come across over the years has been garbage, so it's incredibly exciting to finally see it done right (even if I do plan on re-inserting the proper intro and playing it as a single, separate piece).
I can imagine playing the piece and like in anime my hair just floats to the top of my head like I’ve been struck with lightning and I’m gritting my teeth and sweating XD
