thank you bro!! This truck is'nt mine, I've been working on it for a buddy, will soon be returning this one. This was just a 3-speed shift test video. It's shifts! sickening..
Bought a savage on fb marketplace for $25!!! It was missing the nitro engine and the fuel tank was busted along with the tires but everything else was there. No remote or body shell either but for $25 you can’t go wrong. Went ahead and ordered the dynamite .28 for it along with a clutch and fuel tank. All together I’ve spent less than $200. Can’t wait to get it all together.
thank you bro!! Im currently speed testing this truck right as I'm writing this comment to you!! im serious.. Take a guess what I can get. Keep in mind my old savage XL 3 speed with the K5.9 topped out at only 46 mph.
hey bro! thanks for checking out this quick vid!! Luckily for us all the Nitro Savages are back!!! prices are kinda high though, but still many used ones to go around!! NitroGang!
hey my dude! I'm glad to have given you a useful video to watch. Yes this cheap Dynamite 28 is a good performer, even while running rich in a 1/8 monster truck. You can't kill it for the value.
Bro, pick that pizza up, we cannot be killing pizza or nitros lol!! thank you man! The basic dynamite 28 even on a very rich tune is not bad in this truck, right!! BTW this truck is'nt mine, just working on it for a friend of mine.
thank you dude!! That $105 dollar Dynamite 28 is a great motor, and in this video it was still very rich after break in, there is ore power and speed left.
thanks bro! this location is close to where we normally RC. But you cant really run RCs here, eventually the coast guard and arks police gonna tell you to leave. But yes the hill in the back is sickening!!!
Thank you man, let me give you a small update on this truck. I am currently doing some top speed testing let’s see how fast this truck will be, take a guess and let’s see how close you get to the true reality of what I get.
I’ve gotta get my hpi savage.25 with a dynamite.28 big red in it up and running. I’ve got a square body Chevy body for it and Bear foot decals to make one of my favorite old school monster trucks out of it.. I need to get a pull starter for it and make it 17mm hex so I can mount new wheels and tires because the savage tires are dry rotted
that you man! Oh wow, that I did not know about the kyosho nitros, I will look into that, because that wound incredible. As far as I knew the only 3-speed ever put into a 1/10 nitro touring car was for the Schumacher fusion.
for the tunes and anyone else that may be dissuaded from nitro for tuning issues follow these easy steps: (when adjusting HSN or LSN adjust in 1 hour increments, rev engine for a brief moment for new adjustment to take place before moving on. Also there should be no air bubbles going into the fuel inlet, if there are bubbles then you're fuel line/primer have a leak, replace the fuel line or tank or seal the primer on the tank if it's there) -take the filter off and set the idle gap to .5mm, never touch this needle again, put filter back on -set HSN to adjust top end. Top end should have smooth max rpms, with some smoke. Keep leaning until it won't rev more on the top end, but if it starts to bog at high rpms then you need to rich the HSN 1 hour at a time until it's smooth and has smoke (lubrication) -set LSN to where acceleration is smooth. This will also affect your idle, but it should be as peppy as possible. You want power as soon as you touch the trigger and not wanting to fight a low idling motor. If the low idle sounds too pingy/inconsistent, you're probably too lean on this needle. If the idle is too low/sluggish then you're probably too rich on this needle. That's it.
ahaha yes my dude!! This was a good first run to check the shifting. Obviously the motor is still very rich and it took a bit of extra time to shift, but the motor just finished the break in stages so I didn't want to kill it just yet, lol.
nice dude!! im very happy to hear that! These are great trucks and almost just as fast with the regular 2-speed unit. This one just happens to have the 3-speed optional trans.
Where are you buying your nitro fuel and glow plugs? I just turned 22 and started some builds. I was hopeful to get a half a decade in before they go extinct
These dynamite 28 is identical to the f4.6 everything is the same other than paint colors ,port cuts crankshaft piston is identical to f4.6 pretty good engine ND can't beat the price
I'm looking at replacement engines for my mgt 8.0. the motor is awesome but I know it's just a matter of time, and there are NO parts for this thing. Any idea how this dynamite would compare?
NItroGang making another Savage Great agian!!
Make one of the new ones great, for the first time in its life!
@@fartdonkey8290 good one! I don't need to make new ones great, they already are.
Sickening 3 Speed👍

Nitro is amazing it’s like motorcross in rc
I totally agree!! I used to own a nice enduro style bike a Kawasaki KLR250. Not a true motocross bike, but at least street legal.

Which clutch setup do you recommend with this engine, I’m rebuilding my savage from when I was 13
Sick. Nice location

I need help with my Losi DBXL. The car is brand new but the engine is not firing. I've tried the carb setting but... Nothing.

Nice! The Kyosho FW03/04 has an optional or aftermarket 3-speed too! Imagine the speed on a 3-speed touring car?
