Don’t put action scenes on slow parts of a song, on the other hand action parts like the chorus need to be more dynamic. Make cuts corresponding to how the music flows. You can’t just drop a whole anime scene and call it a day! Use multiple episodes from a series instead of just one to make it more various and interesting.
I understand what you mean completely, but as this was my third attempt at an amv i was using scenes, i love and music i adore and just having fun with it but yes i do understand what you mean and i have tried to adapt into it more with my newer videos if you get a chance to check them out .
