- In this inspiring episode of TCNtalks, Chris Comeaux sits down with John Burke, New York Times bestselling author of Imagine Heaven and Imagine the God of Heaven, for a soul-stirring conversation on near-death experiences (NDEs) and their profound implications.
John shares the overwhelming evidence of the commonalities of near-death experiences (NDEs) and the evidence that supports their validity from across the world and from across many different cultures. Chris begins by recounting his own transformative experience reading Imagine Heaven over his summer sabbatical, describing it as a refreshing oasis for the parched soul.
John delves into the fascinating and consistent patterns found in NDEs worldwide, revealing how people from vastly different backgrounds describe similar encounters of leaving their bodies, seeing with a spiritual clarity-even those blind from birth-and entering realms filled with light, love, and peace. These striking parallels resonate with biblical descriptions, offering compelling evidence for an afterlife and sparking questions about our purpose here.
NDEs often involve leaving the body, experiencing a spiritual body, and witnessing events while clinically dead. Even blind people who have NDEs can see and describe colors and physical details that are impossible for them to describe given they have never actually seen in from a physical standpoint. NDEs also often involve entering a place of light and love, which is starkly similar to descriptions in the Bible. The discussion highlights the apologetic nature of NDEs for the existence of an afterlife.
Through captivating personal stories and insights from years of research, John emphasizes the central message of NDEs: the profound importance of loving God and loving others. The episode closes with a powerful reminder of the transformative impact NDEs can have on our lives, especially for those working in Hospice and Palliative Care, by nurturing hope, comfort, and an enduring sense of purpose.
Tune in to this unforgettable episode-a true gift to those dedicated to bringing compassion and care to others.

I really love this hope.
Always a blessing to listen to John Burke. Thx! ♥
Randy Kay, who interviews those who have experienced NDE’s, listens as people testify that all of Heaven is light.
I’m one of them and also in John’s book Imagen the Hod of
Heaven! So humble to share how merciful God is with us
My mom died last week. I got her home on hospice. She passed away 3 and a half hours after she got home. I want to see her again. I talk to her now like she can hear me. Do other ppl do that ? Talk to their deceased loved ones ? And sometimes I can imagine what she would say to me. I don’t know if that is considered a sin in Christianity.
I am sorry for your loss! Blessings from UK. My first thought is that you could ask Jesus to be present in your Conversations with your Mum.
...
Don't do that.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
the current heaven is not our final state
we will resurrect in new physical bodies
and the heavenly Jerusalem will descend to earth
and heaven and earth will be joined
and we'll have the best of both physical and spiritual
so even though NDEers report great experiences
it will actually be better
when physical and spiritual are united
I think heaven is not only in the spiritual state alone because Jesus went to heaven in his physical glorified body including Elijah and Enoch in the old testament.
DjKjA14 If you actually believe any of that bunk I have some swamp land in Alaska I want to sell you
And you know this how?
I can't help but wonder what evidence he thinks there is for any sort of God
Read the book and see. Don’t be afraid of confronting your sins and let that stop you. Hell and God is real. We choose one or the other by accepting or rejecting Christ. Eternal Life or Eternal death.
@@justanotherknowitall2044 There is no evidence for either one, hell or any sort of god
