This is going to be a wonderful idea for me because I have a backyard full of Kikuyu, which is the bane of my existence🤦♀️, so making a ‘tea’ from it will be sooo good for my plants. Thankyou so much Costa for such an ingenious idea. Actually, I’m growing Comfrey so I will make tea from that too👏👏👏
I used to do this with weeds prunings and a little grass though I used a stockingette bags ( like butchers use when freezing a lamb ) it worked well but lacking a lid had lots of mozzies.
Costa is an absolute Aussie legend!
Pro tip: Don't use a watering can to fill up a bin ;)
This is good. I will try this.
Thank you, Costa! This is defintely something to look into. I have 1/4 acre of fast growing grass and too much of it!
U aussiess..always pleasantly surprised😊
Grass tea all around !😊
😊👍
Hello from Canada, we have been doing this for many years at my house just with dandelions thistles and yarrow 😊

you can also squeeze it out once in a while, then out it back in to help it break down faster
Nice shirt 🎉
A real beauty who cannot be resisted by any lady.
I can only imagine the stench.
Must be a bastard checking that beard ever morning for huntsmen spiders! I had problems with pine-martens once. 😊 👍
Fuzzy Aussie making tea ❤🫂
Be mindful if your mower seaps fuel or oil at all..
Been doing this for decades in Britain, but we don’t use grass, we use Horse Manure. Hessian bags are better, by the way…
All the best.😉👍🏾🇬🇧🌱
Get ready for the smell😊
Hot water in the beginning?
or throw it on a compost heap and wait a bit.
Do we use the tea as it is or does it need to be diluted before going onto our plants?
Dilute it
Why not just throw some leaves with it and turn into compost?
I have done this in the past
Obviously, use cotton pillow cases to reduce the chances of introducing microplastics to your garden.
Silage water?
I wonder how many people will actually drink it instead of watering the garden 😂
I used to do this with weeds prunings and a little grass though I used a stockingette bags ( like butchers use when freezing a lamb ) it worked well but lacking a lid had lots of mozzies.
Where is the tea in this tea bag?
Senshi is that you???
What about the fumes from the lawn mower/ride on?
As someone who can't stand the smell of cut grass( can't breathe with it ) this short is horrific 😂. Love ya Costa 💗
When I mow, I just throw all my lawn clippings straight into the nearest the national park.
Littering and spreading weeds.
Smells like the worst thing ever
Your beard makes me angry.
