$200 is deep into territory of "I have to REALLY like this character/IP" to drop that kind of dosh on one single item. I've done it only a few times here and there.
I totally understand that! That’s partly why I wanted to compare it to so many smaller Marvel Legends. I’m happy to give up so many for 1 exceptional figure that brings me more joy

Totally agree jubilee is a mid character, I rather spent that much on a Spiderman or Wolverine
There are no bad Jubilees! 1 Mondo, 5 VHS Legends , 20 Minimates, 40 Heroclix. All good ways of spending $200! Great look at the figure though and awesome artwork.

I had no desire to collect 1/6 scale action figures until Mondo started producing these animated style figures. I tried my hardest to resist. But I ended up purchasing the Wolverine followed by the BTAS Joker and Batman. Now I'm completely hooked. They are soooooo good! I'm all in. Plus they just revealed the Spider-Man the Animated Series line at SDCC. Yes please!

Huge fan of the channel! Love your unique spin on reviews and enthusiasm. Always a great watch. This review in particular has convinced me to add this to the collection, with Magneto already on the way! I’m torn now as to whether to keep my legends or go all in with Mondo. Tough one! Might wait a bit, and see how far I can get before having to remortgage my home ;-) thanks for sharing as always.

Given that Jubilee is my one of my favourite Marvel characters.....yeah I probably would 😅. I dropped something similar to get the Kotobukiya Jubilee Bishoujo statue and it's one of my favourite figures it looks awesome ^__^

Whoa whoa whoa! A premium Mondo figure review! Not TMNT, not DBZ. I like it. The sculpt on this figure convinced me to get this one and ultimately I might be in on this line because of Miss Jubilation Lee
She’s the gateway drug! Hahaha. She’s so small compared to the others running 12” on average
Mondo looks so good. Love seeing 1/6 action figures.

I really wish this was 1/12 or 6 inch scale. If Mafex ever get around to a Jubes figure, I hope she'll be on par with this, if not better.

These are so tempting to get! It’s the scale that makes me hesitate purchasing them. But I dig their sculpt and paint. Mondos Jubilee looks so much better than the Marvel Legends Jubilee. I’m a sucker for Storm so I’ll probably buy her at least:)
Jubilee is much smaller than the rest so she is like a stepping stone into the larger figures 😂 She’s great though

Great video... For me to get any 1/6 figure, I would have to be a huge fan of the character. Gambit was always my favorite X-men character, followed closely by Rogue of course.

Slippery slope with Mondo. I have the limited edition versions of He-Man and She-Ra. I had to limit myself to just them. They take up a cabinet shelf all by themselves. They are amazing to look at. She-Ra is hands down the most beautiful face sculpt I have ever seen. I just recently took them down, however. The space that two figures took up is now home for Mythic and Cosmic Legions.
It’s gonna get rough real fast! Haha. I do think they are so spectacular (so far) that I will give up other stuff
Great review. I’ve had the figure since it came out. Love it. Unfortunately Mondo has me with these animated lines. They look so amazing that it’s hard to not go all in. So far I’ve done well with Batman(Batman, Joker & the coming Phantasm and that’s hopefully it). X-Men, not so much. All in on them so far. What is the black stand you are using in the poses at the end? Keep up the great work.
I would love to dedicate to both lines! They are so good! The stand is a Play Arts Kai Stand
Also, if you don't like the effects the figure comes with, there are plenty of companies and individual artists who make excellent action-figure effects-pieces with glow-in-the-dark, LED-lighting, and etc.! ; ) =)

I’ve never got the appeal of Mondo. They are expensive but still have the same design as 1/12 / 1/10 scale. Hot toys and other more realism based 1/6 is another story though. I definitely get the appeal there.
Realism has its own thing for sure. Lots of goodies

for that price, the jacket should have been soft goods with wire.
and miss match colours are also a big deal killer
when you consider this is a similar price of a Hot Toys.
I enjoy soft goods, but I don't think it would look right at all for the toon look
I primarily am a sixth scale collector over smaller stuff (with a few exceptions). Haven’t bought anything from Mondo though. I might at some point get some of the Batman: The Animated Series figures.

Love the Mondo stuff, but I can’t bring myself to start another line after going after their BTAS stuff.
That BTAS stuff looks stunning
Mondo figures are damn expensive, but the likeness and paint are incredible. They’ve got their hooks in me with this line. Their quality control can sometimes be iffy (Magneto’s hands are brittle) but their customer service is amazing so it’s not a huge concern. Since you have Jubilee, you kind of need Wolverine now, right? He was available on clearance for awhile, I’m not sure if that’s still the case.

My absolute favorite X-man! Still waiting for BBTS to get mine, but this makes me want to cancel and order direct from Mondo.

Size sure, but yeah, ah, can see value in 100, but even that would be a special buy. Do like look of deluxe trapjaw, and maybe one other, but surprises me there’s multiple versions of some which going for $200 or more, faroutski’s!

Oh boy! That would be an interesting one. Honestly, I hate anything mechanical. This is why I haven’t touched Transformers yet. All those straight lines. Ugh!

There is no way I would pay $200 for a jubilee figure under no circumstances but yea I like more figs versus just one and many times $200 is my budget for toys for a whole month so I would miss a lot if I only spent it on one item. And I don’t collect that scale anyway

200 is definitely out of my budget on a single figure but I will say this looks amazing and I really like the larger size of it compared to Legends. If Mondo ever does MCU figures though I may be in trouble... Anyways, great review and God bless!
Yeah, for 1 figure it is a lot, but that was kind of my point in this video. When you compare it to several cheaper products I would rather buy ONE figure all day long

8 Marvel Legends. I don’t collect 1/6th scale. If I did I’d get the MOTU stuff they got. She’s definitely a good looking figure.
I think if you ever get to experience one you might switch up some stuff. These are incredible and I think you’ll lose your mind over the MOTU stuff (if it’s anything like this)

I was thinking more because I'm on the GI Joe band wagon. That alone will be a few thousand dollars. However I could see in certain cases, like smaller IP's that you get a few figures and call it a day. The TMNT 1990 movies comes to mind. I like your idea to just sell sell pretty much all of your marvel legends and go all in on this line with the proceeds.
I'm tired of buying a bunch of bored-looking figures with lazy paint apps, no power effects, and lazy reused sculpts that don't have proper heroic proportions. That's most lines that do Marvel- I guess they just assume Marvel fans will buy anything and they don't have to try very hard anymore.
Every single time I have bought a Hasbro figure I have lost excitement after opening. The new Blob is maybe an exception, but it’s just not worth it in the end. Less is more in this realm
Mondo has created the definitive X-Men TAS line; their sculpts are beautiful 😍

Haha! That’s true, but they release slowly which is good. I think the quality of one of these is superior to 8 Legends. So it’s a no brainer for me, really. I will enjoy this one item much more than several mediocre ones

Ahem, yes, I’d take 8 marvel legends. This is pretty much a haslab jubilee, which I wouldn’t back. Plus how deep can you possibly go into the mondo line? Legends wins because they can expand much further at their pricepoint and scale…..

@@NostalgiaUnboxed It's all their Chinese Funko factories though. They used to source things like statues and figures from other small companies and artisans. You're basically buying Funko trash with the Mondo name on it now.

I can't be the only person who believes these toy companies need to stop with the cell shading nonsense. Because action figures don't need that. it just makes them look really weird and certain light situations. you don't need to have cell shading colors because the figure will already have those colors if you're having them on a shelf in the light. So yeah. stop with the cell shading! You don't need to do it. It's just adding extra paint that doesn't need to be there and it makes the figure look ridiculous. I'm just saying.
