You were the very first Splatoon animator I ever saw, and it really got me into it. I can kinda say you were my childhood, and it indeed feels like it. When I saw your last post was like 4 years ago I really felt down for a while. You're really diving into the territory of motion capture and it is quite incredible what you're doing with it and SFM, absolutely nice job there!! You did good on this project too, the lighting and effects especially are very good ^^ While the hair looks really good when the characters are moving a lot, there's always some more work that can be done to make some parts look a bit more fluent when the characters aren't moving as much, also it never hurts to apply some good old principles of animation here and there for some of the normal animated parts to make them feel more realistic and fluent. Voice acting too was quite a shock to hear! Personally it doesn't fit due to how you've always done it all without it , but that's definitely up to you ^^ Keep up the good work and it's always nice to see you back in action after such a long time again ^w^
Although for VA they used RVC aka Voice Conversion AI i still find it smart to see the use of it on a project like this.. The only question is. If this isnt going to backfire the channel or the video itself. Since using someones voice on AI can be a hit or miss. Some people mind it. And some wont.

The idea of smaller animations taking place between episodes is absolutely perfect! Seeing them all together again brings back so much nostalgia, it's beautiful to see! ^^ It's wonderful that you're trying out different things too. The new hair jigglebones look really great! When the character doesn't have much movement however the hair doesn't move much either. Perhaps you can try out something else here, or perhaps animate the hair and saving it as an idle animation. The AI voice was a shock too! I personally am not too sure if it fits well, but that's just my thought on them. Love the idea behind it! Something else too. I noticed that you're not using your custom clothing model anymore. It looks fine the way it is now, but if you ever need your old model I once recreated it for SFM. Just letting you know about it, feel free to do anything. It's truly wonderful to see you back after such a long time, especially since you're the one who inspired me to animate in the first place. You got this Poool, it's great to see you again! ^^

Okay, as excited as everyone is for Lilia's story with Poool and co, I rewatched all of Innocent 2 and Return Trip and I'm really curious about the other four trainee Octolings, Clara (Magenta w/ Gal Deco), Roux (Orange w/ Octoshot), Aelita (Pink w/ Bamboozler), the unnamed(?) indigo one with the Octoshot, and maybe Amber (Red w/ Octoshot). I don't know how much more we'll see of Amber since she has no notable design differences and is only seen in Innocent 2 3/5 and is the only splatted Octoing during the mission, but the other four definitely have potential for side characters. Indigo and Roux have often been seen with each other, Roux and Clara have shown to be fierce and merciless during 3/5's mission, and Clara and Aelita have shown individuality in clothing in Innocent 2, with Clara wearing a black jacket and Aelita with a pin in her hair. Aelita stands out the most because she's always seemed timid like Lilia, and it looked like she was caught trying to escape(?) and getting backlash at the end of 3/5. We even see her Bamboozler on the damp area Poool was walking through before getting knocked out by Skarlet. Definitely seeing what these four have in store, if anything.
First i must say I'm so happy your back and your animations are still so amazing! I love the fact how you change each specific character in their own way like lilia, lacey I love how different they look and It was surprising how they can actually speak now! I can't wait to see more future projects from you :3 💖
