i'm surprised there's been so few clips of her watchalongs, maybe toei sent assassins after the clippers, either way the ost for this movie is just so peak
If anything the channel Peko Mains, which has lots of watchalong highlights is taking quite a long while to put something together. Especially since Pekora's Dragon Ball watchalongs are in multiple streams.
Watching Pekora on her journey of discovering Dragon Ball is lets me relive the experience of watching it for the first time in my younger years. Bless this silly rabbit.

The way Pekora gets hyped about Dragon Ball like a kid really pulls you into her rhythm and sweeps you along for the ride.
If i remember right the chants are based on all of Mexicos n just Hispanic countries in general gathering to watch the ToP arc of Super with a giant crowd chanting as if they were watching a wrestling match

Toei went out of their way (as in asked the Japanese government) to try and cease and desist these events but failed. there used to be a ton of videos of this continental event on youtube but Toei Copyrighted most of them a few months ago. I really wish a different company owned the IP, because Toei/sueisha have proven to be insanely bitter and disrespectful towards fans outside of Japan "incorrectly" enjoying the work of their artists that they pay scraps to. Thankfully the love and sheer force of will by fans across the globe can't be snuffed out by a few executives having a bad day.

The Dragon Ball Super Broly movie was unironically a world wide fighting event and the music reflects that perfectly.
I’m glad they went that route because it’s probably my favorite DB soundtrack since the Bruce Falconer ost from DBZ

The director cited the latinamerican chants and cheers as a direct inspiration for that.
Even if Toei got mad at Mexico and other countries for screening the episodes, the director loved the atmosphere and decided to try and replicate it

Shit had me and my cousin hyped up when we first watched it. Freaking love that theme!
Watching this in the cinema was a whole experience, I could hear people absolutely confused, some laughing and other having the time of their lives.
I don't know who decided to do it like this, but it was so much fun.
I thought that this song was overseas exclusive and in JP the BGM was "Blizzard".
No blizzard is in every version it's during the second half of the gogeta fight right before the dragon gets summoned

I remember pulling up to the watchalong with the movie ready on the side only to remember that I don't understand Japanese, and Pekora doesn't actually have subtitles to what she's saying all the time. Makes me more gratefull for clippers, cause they're my only way to understand them.
