Murasaki of Dragonball has been an anime ninja of high request for this show for a while now. But with his comedic-at-best jutsus and overconfidence, is he REALLY a good ninja?

Looking forward to "How ninja are the Hunters from Monster Hunter Rise"..cause I'm sure it'll be there, I found insects used as ten'nenbishi (natural caltrops) so there's a point already on top of their use of nature..I'd call it that they'd be the over the top style ninja but they have some decent roots to work with.

Not sure if it was just comedy bit of yours, but its only natural that serious moment is contrasted with comedy, especially considering how much more serious the fight follows Murasakis defeat: Buyon, monster that almost defeats and eats Goku.

Goku's whole schtick is that he brings out the worst in these otherwise indomitable and terrifying figures by being a kid who is simply unaffected by them, like 99% of the planet would die instantly at the ninjas hand, 1% would fight him equally, and then there's Goku, half of your mushroom head's issues can be summed up with "he'd do better if it wasn't against Goku".

Like the name suggests, they were a army who's symbol was a red ribbon (more like a bowtie, which is always cool for obvious reasons). Dr, gero, the creator of the androids and cell was a member of the RR army, and he hates Goku because he wiped out the RR army as a child. This is a very good point. There is solid evidence that he has the intellectual knowledge of the assorted techniques of the ninja, with distractions, hiding techniques, and psychological warfare. His problem is that although he INTELLECTUALLY knows the techniques, he doesn't PRACTICALLY know them. It's like the difference between memorizing medical textbooks and actually practicing medicine as a doctor. You might be able to rattle off all the information correctly, but put one of these armchair physicians in a medical emergency, and you'll be lucky if they don't wind up making things worse. In this case, Murasaki's lack of practical knowledge leads him to constantly letting his emotions get the better of him, whether it's his addiction to naughty magazines, his pride, or his inability to handle unexpected complications.

Hey Gaijin, I loved your Greninja video, and I have an idea for another Pokémon Which Ninja. Instead of a specific Pokémon though, it's a type in general. Poison Type. The reason I say that is that they're one of the fragile types out there, but the the general strategy for most of them is to go in, Poison the target, and either die, or get out. Not to mention the first 2 poison specialists are the Fuschia City Gym Leaders Koga and his daughter Janine, with their gym in the anime acting like a typical ninja house. Plus, a lot of poison type Pokémon are based on animals that stereotypical ninjas would use, such as insects, arthropods, and snakes. Examples are Venomoth, Drapion, Arbok, & Seviper. I could actually make a whole breakdown, but I'll stop now.

Hey Goomba, you should do a video covering the new Revenant Hunters in Destiny 2 for Which Ninja. Their new stuff is honestly and truly, actually pretty ninja.
They have two charges of a melee attack that slows (and freezes slowed) enemies. It doesn't do a lot of damage, but it bounces around and spreads the status effect a lot, making it useful for preventing enemies from following you if you need to retreat and heal, or open them up for you to hit them with something hard.
The grenade shown for Hunters draws enemies in from a pretty decent range, and lingers, slowing enemies until they're frozen solid. Its most useful trait though, is in how long it lingers. You can use it at a chokepoint to hold territory for yourself, or throw it at a boss to repeatedly freeze them.
The super is to throw two Kamas, one named Silence, the other Squall. One freezes a large area, the other makes a localized storm that slowly freezes enemies while it keeps damaging them with cold, cutting winds.
Lastly, there's the two aspects, one gives a dive attack thats used from up high to attack and instantly shatter frozen enemies. People will use it to freeze and shatter enemies, sometimes aggressively, sometimes while camping.
The second causes your dodge to slow enemies around you while you can also use your dodge to recharge your melee.
And finally there's the exotic, Mask of Barris. It is literally you, wearing the enemies face. It makes your dodge super fast, while also cloaking you while you use it. It also minorly boosts arc damage, so most people pair it with a arc shotgun or sword, and use it to zip up to a enemy from behind, and quickly put them down. Either that or its a easy escape button.

with the sheet being the wrong color, thats a well known animation problem, you can always pick out the moving bits in anime because theyll be shaded or colored differently than the static portions, in fact in a later episode where the cover doesnt move during a shot it blends better and goku even pees on murosaki without realising it

Maybe also a samurai vs knight video? Just a thought, liked your video!

I actually used that running technique when I was a kid. The funny thing is that I knew absolutely nothing about ninja and had never seen any anime in my life at that point. I just discovered it by accident one day and kept doing it because it felt like I was faster when I did. Thankfully, this was a long time before Naruto existed so nobody ever called me out on it by calling it "Naruto running". I did get some funny looks from people but they were more confused than mocking.
