Eric doesn’t think he should discuss wanting to have a vasectomy with his WIFE ,but has no problem talking about it with Stephanie .I cant stand this man !
Agree 100%. This man is crazy and the absolute pits.
Eric needs his brain checked. He better get that done as well while in the hospital getting the vasectomy..
Who would want a baby with Sheila? Like anyone would want her genes?
@@annlavine3576 He doesn’t know she’s nuts
He really is terrible....but the ladies still love him🤷
@@annlavine3576 at this point only the viewers of the show (and Lauren) know for sure about Sheila. Eric literally knows nothing about her. So really at this point Eric is being a terrible husband.
Oh I forgot how long and beautiful Brookes hair was…
Yes that fitted her perfectly
@@Angelika....fit.
*ERIC & SHEILA ARE BOTH BAD SPOUSES*
Ever since Eric & Sheila got married, the writers have been doing this lazy thing where they rely on the viewers' knowledge of Sheila's villainy to portray her as the bad or wrong party in her marital discord without actually showing her being a bad wife. Instead what we've actually seen onscreen is Eric being a bad husband. He berated Sheila for taking a job with Brooke, excluded her from family events and secrets, rejected and shamed her for wanting to be intimate with her husband, humiliated her in front of Stephanie and he's generally just been unfair and cold and cruel to her. Thus AnnieO and I have been saying: Sheila might be a villain on the show but Eric is the villain _in their marriage._
Yet the storyline with Eric's vas e c to my finally balances out the blame and makes them both bad spouses. On one hand, Eric planning to have this procedure without telling his wife is a major betrayal and would be unacceptable in any marriage. But at the same time, Sheila trying to get pregnant on the sly when she knows her husband may not want another child and then eventually escalating that to lying about being pregnant and trying to pass off another man's child as Eric's is _also_ deceitful and unacceptable. What we have here finally are two bad spouses in a bad marriage being bad to each other and validating Stephanie's narration that the marriage was doomed from the start.
well said, two bad spouses that never should have been married
Stephanie is the real prophet of Doom, not Sheila. Sorry James 😛🧝
couldn't have said it better myself

James' brilliant solution to getting Ridge off Brooke's mind is not marrying her immediately, but spending an hour in the sauna and arguing with Ridge (???)
I'm actually with him on that one. It'd be better that she leaves him now, than when they're married. Anyway marriage doesn't mean much on this show, in real life even
@@tiroyaonejustinphologolo9763 I see your point. I always find it weird how the characters think a completed wedding ceremony is a final, final, final event that cannot be reversed. Now matter how many times it's been reversed in the past.
@@shanemarais823 exactly, some people have had more weddings than they have ring for fingers, yet their BeLieF in marriage remains infallible
@@shanemarais823I'm with you but not with you. The only reason I wanted Brooke to marry James immediately was to just show some seriousness towards what she _says_ she wants to do.. Anything else is just cheap talk on her part.
But yeah, even getting married to James wouldn't be the solution. It would just be James struggling and striving to keep Brooke (a la Eric) and maybe even acting like Sheila in trying to have a baby to "solidify" the relationship (like how it works out ALLLLL the time on this show🥴)
Eric is late to the party as always. After Bridget was born that should have been enough to make him consider getting a vasectomy and being clear with Sheila that he was through having kids before he married a younger woman that might have wanted a child. 🤦
And if he really doesn't want kids with Sheila, what possible reason could he have not to tell her about having a vasectomy? That is just plain cruel.

@@paulalondero7765They never had any resolution. It’s like the show just kinda kept Jack around until the actor’s contract ran out, without properly paying attention to him as a character
No one else is saying it from what I've seen but as a woman, I find it extremely alarming and creepy to think if I were ever in a position that Taylor is in, that there would be two strange men, one more specifically, looming over me in my coma with no other women around to make sure they weren't doing anything inappropriate, which as we know is VERY common in these situations.. It's being romanticized in this storyline, concerningly...but this, in the real world, would be a very unsafe, and potentially dangerous position for a woman to be in!!
I see your point, but still I think the risk of inappropriate behavior from Prince Omar is the least of Taylor's worries right now, given she was just taken off life support.
Especially when it is a creepy looking man who claims to have fallen for a coma patient.
@@Esi-741 Yes! Looking at it from outside a soap opera perspective for a second, and you have this creepy overly obsessive man constantly at the bedside of this female coma patient under ZERO supervision,,, So unsettling...
30 min show & we get Brooke in tub with singing memories! 🤦🏼♀️
So cute! The days when Ridge and Rick got along!
Ok, Brooke in the bathtub "thinking" about Ridge...
brooke breaks into a song splish splash I was taking a bath!
Love Brooke’s Memories of happy times with Ridge! Brooke invested so much time in this Romance.😌 Only to have Ridge abandon her twice. Now Ridge is begging Brooke to give him another chance. I agree the children are enough to tip the scales for Ridge this go round…with Brooke!
But we know that Ridge is prone to love more than one woman…so Taylor will always be a threat! 😮
Well-directed ending with Taylor’s reveal, reminiscent of scenes from the good old days… just needed a bit stronger music when her face was finally shown, as they did with Deveney back then.
Don't worry, Brooke will have the "seeing Deveney's face" reaction when she sees Taylor is alive.
I thought the music was fitting - wasn't it the romantic theme usually associated with Tridge?
Deveney's face reveal was epic! The build up was so intense.
There wasn’t any build up to Taylor’s reveal though. The moment they showed Omar and the Dr in the room a few episodes back, every fan already knew it was Taylor. Even the show’s producers at the time didn’t try and hide the fact that Taylor was still alive and returning to the show. Fans just didn’t know HOW she was returning. This was one of the shows worst kept ‘’secrets’’. The Deveney Dixon reveal was MUCH better and MUCH better written, because it was written by the incredible Williams J Bell. Taylor’s ridiculous reveal storyline was written by his MUCH less talented son. The first of many ridiculous plot twists created by Brad the Cad Bell.
Brooke's parenting skills are a joke. She just calmly comes home after work, tells the nanny to feed the kids because she needs to shower, then she says that she needs to unwind. In the real world, a parent's day just begins when they come home from work. You have to be super mommy and super dad. The kids need your attention. If you're a single parent, you'll shower after you put your kids to bed. You'll be lucky if you don't fall asleep in the bathtub.😂
Lucky her.
Also, the poor kids seem perfectly happy just having dinner with the nanny after not seeing their mom all day, and then when Mommy gets home, she doesn't hold her kids or even speak directly to them, but just disappears into the bathroom.
Her parenting was one of the things she and Stephanie would have disagreements about.
Well said Tim. This is one of the main reasons I don't want to become a parent. I love kids, but I'd never be able to forgive myself for neglecting them, in a bid to give them what's deemed a better life. Then they end up being raised by nannies and teachers. We live in a fast pace world, where the rat race barely gives us time to ourselves, how would I manage to have time for my children 😭💔
Hahaha
Ridge is totally lost. James should knock him out for locking him up in the office and what he did in the steam room.
Sheila must like her wide lapels tops !! All of a sudden Eric wants his tubes snipped !! 🤣🤣

Strange. If you watched carefully, you already could be certain that this patient would turn out to be Taylor (Taylor/HT back in the intro yesterday). But today they left her out again - just for that -shocking- moment when they would show Taylor at the end of the episode. 🤣
Well, Eric here is the problem when you have a wife that is young enough to be your daughter and has a mind of her own (what ofc eric didn't expect neither wants a wife to have) and only married you because you seemed to be a welthy, powerful men and were her meal ticket. She might wants to have a baby because she isn't through that phase in her life yet or like on Sheila's case had one and used but lost it, and wants your money and wealth more than anything else.
It is funny that he was clamouring to have another child with Brooke but now he doesn't want to add to the "litter" as Mike put it.
Eric must know that if he's going after younger women, they are, in general, going to want a baby of their own. He's naive to think otherwise.
Meanwhile if he could quit going to Steph with his problems I'd be very glad. He can't have honest conversations with all the wives he has, yet will come bog down Steph, the only wife he ever had he could be honest with. The only thing his other wives are good for, is seduction... Never a real relationship which he gave up the day he left steph.
@@TriniT21 👏🏻👏🏻 so true. I agree with all. . He really should stop taking his mess to steph. It's so idotic and than he blames her for the true assemt of reality and when everything happens how she said it would, runs to her and thanks her for standing by him.
@@andream5998 she's the only wife that ever stood by him. He never appreciated it
@@TriniT21 also true. And sge was the one wife that should have never ever been loyal to him and never should stood by him. The one wife he never deserved to have. He never was worthy of her. She was the only wife that should have turned on him and ruined his pitful life. She should have taken everything from him and left him with nothing and nobody on his side.
*The fairy tale of Princess Leila*
(Leyla? Laila? Layla? is there an official spelling?)
Taylor is virtually the _only_ character on the show one could imagine in this type of "Arabian Nights fairy tale" story. It takes a character with a certain fairy tale aura around her - the Princess type. The whole scenario with the prince entranced by the beauty of a mysterious sleeping woman would never work with any of the other female characters on the show (this scene and storyline would be far less convincing with Brooke, Sheila or Macy, even though they are all beautiful). It barely works as it is, but at least now it makes a somewhat coherent "fairy tale bubble" within the show.
Absolutely! You and I have long been saying that Taylor is the Princess-type and now the show has _literalized_ it. It really feels like the show is in this transition period where Brad Bell was taking the characters in directions that would ruin them but the show was still playing with the Bill Bell archetypes. I credit this to the fact that Bill Bell's proteges were still around (directors and other writers he worked with) who could shape the structure of individual episodes and contribute to overall storyline ideas. They won't all stick around and they won't be able to save the show in the long run but for now there are still these vestiges and connections to the previous writing regime.
Totally, Hunter is the only actress on the show that could pull this off. Her beauty and grace are incomparable 💖🌹
@@NewYorkNick0607 exactly - although taking Taylor's character in the direction of becoming a literal princess makes sense for the character archetype, her behavior in this storyline will also severely damage that same archetype because it will cost her her dignity.
And the "Arabian Nights" reference works for a soap opera too. A soap opera is a never ending story telling process that occurs one episode a day just like Scheherazade forever telling one story each night.
@@ajax34 Ooh, I like that parallel!
lol Brooke 's happy memories with Ridge are mostly from their weekend at Big Bear while she was married to Eric and they both though that he wanted out of the marriage.
And they acted like adolescents all the time.
That was the time when Ridge truly wanted to be with her!
@@Esi-741 Yes, Ridge did want to be with Brooke and visa versa…but it turned out to be really bad timing for them. They received false information with the letter. They thought they were home free. Both Ridge and Brooke were in a bad place with Eric. They probably should have broken things off…when they found it was all a Lie! 😮😢
But then where would the Drama be? The writers did break it off by inserting Taylor as competition for Brooke and being Ridge’s conscience when he went into Guilt mode.😳
Taylor became an out for Ridge…and he decided to go for it and leave Brooke so she would go back to Eric. This all seemed to work well for Ridge…but not for Brooke who did not want to “let go” or listen to Ridge or Eric!🤨
