Country Gal...i had the same problem with the yellow split peas a few years ago. I had the peas boiling for over two hours and no luck. I just threw it in the garbage. I figured that the peas i bought was old. I started buying a new brand here in canada called PC BLUE MENU. ..and this is perfect. Try a new brand and don't get too many packages ....at one time. Anyhow, you did a good job...grinding this very fine. Your sis really js a good cook.. Love to watch her make the different rotis. Love you guys in the kitchen together...one big happy family. Here in Canada...its very lonely.. Treasure what you have. Love, laughter, great cooking by helping one another, less stress. Nothing more to ask for. Lots of love...god bless..❤
