Someone once said to me "it's very difficult to keep up with the harvest from a well managed allotment" and that's very true and it applies equally to a kitchen garden : All the best - Steve
Thanks terry, I consider myself minimally organised, just set up a few systems, that just roll over from year to year. I'm a very disorganised person, so without those couple of hours a week my life would be chaos : All the best - Steve
A few days ago I made a start on my chapter on planning, I'd love your comments steverichards.notion.site/Planning-de6eb3376d8049aab0be15dd3f724303 This might be particularly interesting airtable.com/shrb6zVJeexGTygpF : All the best - Steve

This is what peak succession planting looks like! :) Keep meaning to mention, btw, have you any way to boost the sound level of your recordings? I've noticed they are on the quiet side, I can hardly hear when I'm out and about, even when at full volume, which definitely isn't the case with other channels. It could be done either during recording or in the video editor (but I think you said you just use a simple iPhone app for editing so it might not have that option).
Some of mine were small this year too, it was exceptionally dry weather for us in spring and early summer and that definitely didn't help. Also consider how you fed them (they are very heavy feeders) the spacing and light levels (they like a lot). In my case it probably didn't help that we continuously harvest the leaves from July until December and then the sprout tops in January : All the best - Steve

Hi Steve, Cheers for this, 👍👍👍👍, Take care.
I've saved this to watch over and over again as it's such a useful video. It's exciting to think of just how much we can grow in our small space.

A very useful video and I do very often use the resources you share which is appreciated. Thanks Steve take care
Thanks for the feedback Sandra : All the best - Steve
It truly is an exciting time!😄
Lovely informative video as always. Many thanks for all the time you put in.
Brilliant! You’re far better organised than I’ll ever be, but this really helps even a disorganised person such as me. Thanks!

I am very keen on succession planting. Now I am going back to Jan/Feb 2020 & 2021 and in need of taking notes.

Just catching up with some of your recent videos. I really love your split screen format showing the additional detail as you go through your sowings.
Thanks John, it's a bit more effort, but I like it too : All the best - Steve

Long range forecast is looking good Mark, so fingers crossed : All the best - Steve

When I listen to it the recording is so loud, on PC, iPhone and Apple TV, so I’m not sure what to do
Nice tips. Holding back on the urge to sow too early this year.
It's a good practice, I'm very selective about what I grow early and why I'm doing it : All the best - Steve
Great video ...super packed as always. Do you pinch out peppers to encourage more side growth. Reading online some do some don't? Regards Fiona
I don't Fiona, I find that they naturally develop side shoots once the stems have thickened up enough to support the weight : All the best - Steve
are you gonna top those peppers?
No, I've not found any benefit. Side shoots develop naturally once the plants have developed a nice thick stem to support them : All the best - Steve
Great video Steve. My Brussels sprouts were a bit small. Fine big plants but smallish sprouts. Any tips?

Hi Steve do you grow sweet corn in your garden for the summer?
Hi Oliver, we grow sweetcorn on the allotment, interplanted with the winter squash : All the best - Steve
Hi, what type of grow lights do you use
