Thank goodness they got rid of that ugly computer tablet glued onto the center console! It just looks so very much better with the screen integrated into the dash. The instrument cluster still looks like a tack-on. It seems they could have just added a bit more around it, as they have done in earlier models. I'm not against change, but having computer screens is change enough, without radicalizing the interior design of the car. Mercedes does compete favorably with Rolls and Bentley. Rolls has a hide-away screen, not just for an old-fashioned look, but for elegance. Elegance never fades.
I agree. I can't stand that Ipad thing slapped behind the steering wheel. Any car manufacturer can do that. Hopefully, one day they go back to real dials, or at least integrate the pad into the dash. Mercedes used to know that luxury meant things were all organically placed, but subtle and just enough out of the way to not be in your face.
My whole life my folks have had 63 in every benz they had.. I just don't understand people will buy 53.... Even my first benz was a C63.. So I guess the world is telling me work hard for you can afford 53 AMG instead of a 63 AMG or a 65 AMG
