    The stepmom seems like she's under the influence of something. It's as if she's talking slow and taking long pauses in order to not slur or jumble her words because her mind is foggy. I'm also assuming, her and the dad didn't try to take her out of that situation as a child. It's hard to believe a 10 yrs. old's drug usage goes unnoticed for years by a parent/step-parent, unless you're not active in their life.

  • @sereneamani1713
    @sereneamani1713 Год назад +1

    The dissenting opinion. It seems as if the stepmother has been in the picture and helping the plaintiff throughout her life. She mentioned raising the plaintiff's children and the plaintiff didn't refute that statement. The father is deceased, and the defendant is still in the picture. Why is the plaintiff agreeable to living with the stepmother after (perhaps) her father is deceased? What has the biological mother done except introduce her to drugs?
    I do think the stepmother is trying to pull a fast one in this instance, but I can imagine what she's had to deal with since marrying her father and seemingly playing more of a motherly role than the biological mother. And is the lady in the pink suit the biological mother? This whole episode seemed to me to be set up to cast the defendant as the bad guy. The only evidence presented was evidence favorable to the plaintiff. JM basically shut down the defendant and defended the plaintiff. The defendant didn't present herself well. She's probably worn out after living with the husband (that she supposedly stole) and dealing with baggage he brought. As much as I like JM, I think this was a straight setup to go in favor of the plaintiff.
