I applaud Judge for changing her title. You are not a crackhead if you are in recovery. Glad she got some help. Lady give that woman her money back. If you didn't want her there period you should have told her that you wouldn't accept it and to find somewhere else to live.
Sadly, many people say “once a crackhead, always a crackhead”. I think that was the main reason she said it and for the other reasons people stated. I also believe if you no longer do it you shouldn’t keep confessing you are it. Words do have power.
Sadly one of my friends from high school her dad helped her get high off heroin 😢 20 years later she is finally clean. But it’s scary your own parents can do that to you
God bless the plaintiff and all that she went through. The defendant caused her problems by having an affair with a married man. What does this tell you about her character. Acting so prim and proper The Other Woman . So proud of the plaintiff! Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉
The stepmom seems like she's under the influence of something. It's as if she's talking slow and taking long pauses in order to not slur or jumble her words because her mind is foggy. I'm also assuming, her and the dad didn't try to take her out of that situation as a child. It's hard to believe a 10 yrs. old's drug usage goes unnoticed for years by a parent/step-parent, unless you're not active in their life.
She was quite frank, she is not a crack head no more. It should be promoted to say I am Clean, not I am an addict. What we say about ourselves has a great impact on our identity.
The stepmother behaved as if she's the one who had a few Xanax and valium. I wish the the plaintiff well on her sobriety journey. She seems like she's got her head on straight. And I commend her for not stooping to the defendant's level of lying and disparaging her. She is absolutely right. She's a person who deserves to be respected.
Don't know how old you are and if you rent or own, but life has been a lot less stressful since I installed keypads on my doors. The internal one has a fingerprint reader as well. You can unlock with your fingerprint, code, an ic card (like a small work badge), phone Bluetooth...or key. Look into it.
I think it’s so low when someone either says, or suggests that a loved one who has passed on, is “disappointed” in the person that they’re having conflict with.
The defendant was marble-mouthed (slurring her words) and couldn't remember her thoughts enough to complete a sentence to win the case. She didn't sign a rental agreement but expected to use it against her stepdaughter. She's the classic case of an evil stepmother. Shame on her. Congratulations to the plaintiff for her sobriety and for winning the suit she brought against the evil stepmother. 🙂
The woman my dad married is horrible. She doesn't like me. She doesn't even say I'm my father's daughter. She calls me the other woman. Wth, I have his whole face. She is very jealous. But wants to get on the phone and speak to me to say Hi. Smh. She also told him to put the phone on speaker when I talk to him. Shame.
Crazy the Plantiff resents the defendent for having an affair with her dad, meanwhile her mother is introducing her to drugs...yea he should have just divorced, but dang, maybe he had good reason.
I think she resents her because the affair is probably what turned her mother to alcohol and then drugs. So in the plaintiff’s mind, had the defendant never came into messed with her father, her life wouldn’t have been turned upside down in the way it was
Drug addicts I swear be so full of themselves when they been on drugs an have people take care of they kids an begging people to stay with em an act like they the victim
Yeah, Adrian Prince we know you live in your Mansion all by yourself..we get it! You write about it ALL the time. Again, not alot of people can afford not to have a roommate 😒
So if her supposition that her step daughter is "still using drugs" is true then that means she went into a court case as a defendant where an addict has the burden of proof and she still lost. I don't know if I would advertise that if I were her but to each their own.
The dissenting opinion. It seems as if the stepmother has been in the picture and helping the plaintiff throughout her life. She mentioned raising the plaintiff's children and the plaintiff didn't refute that statement. The father is deceased, and the defendant is still in the picture. Why is the plaintiff agreeable to living with the stepmother after (perhaps) her father is deceased? What has the biological mother done except introduce her to drugs? I do think the stepmother is trying to pull a fast one in this instance, but I can imagine what she's had to deal with since marrying her father and seemingly playing more of a motherly role than the biological mother. And is the lady in the pink suit the biological mother? This whole episode seemed to me to be set up to cast the defendant as the bad guy. The only evidence presented was evidence favorable to the plaintiff. JM basically shut down the defendant and defended the plaintiff. The defendant didn't present herself well. She's probably worn out after living with the husband (that she supposedly stole) and dealing with baggage he brought. As much as I like JM, I think this was a straight setup to go in favor of the plaintiff.
Jesus dude, the way the defendant was acting you'd think she was on drugs, I mean if you didn't want her there to begin with then refuse to accept the 1200 and say she can't move in. Good for the plaintiff, my mom was a recovering crack addict and that stuff is hell to get off of.
I'm proud of the plaintiff. Calm and presented her case in a very intelligent manner.
The look Judge Mathis was giving the defendant when she paused to think about her lie had me 😆
The fact she admitted she was a crackhead .. told me she was clean.
Damn the defendant seem like she was the one on drugs 😂😂
Absolute facts
That’s what I was thinking at first. But she could have a health condition that makes her response time slow.
The plaintiff was like, "Let me call myself a crackhead before the judge does."
Riiigghhhtttt 😂😂😂
I was just about to write this 😂😂😂
She was prepared 🥴😂 !!!!

Folk cant be nasty for life she a Karen at heart that what her a Bitch for Control etc.
She free now mind and real life tcb
Why’d she say she was a crackhead like that 😂. She was like I’m going to roast myself before you do.
😂😂 she had to beat him to the punch
Probably because she knows her stepmother would bring it up. Is better to come clean up front then to have someone else blasts all your dirty laundry
Sadly, many people say “once a crackhead, always a crackhead”. I think that was the main reason she said it and for the other reasons people stated. I also believe if you no longer do it you shouldn’t keep confessing you are it. Words do have power.
She probably does this to keep herself accountable
The plaintiff's mother introduced her to drugs and pills. She had no chance from jump smh

I know someone too whose 47 years old. He’s been in prison since 1997. His mom and dad had him selling drugs at 8 years old
She had to call herself a crack head before he did lmao. She seen the show lol
The plaintiff did not have a chance ! Her mother introduced her drugs! So glad she is sober. Now the defendant, I believe she is using.
As soon as the defendant started talking I knew she was a liar
God bless the plaintiff and all that she went through. The defendant caused her problems by having an affair with a married man. What does this tell you about her character. Acting so prim and proper The Other Woman . So proud of the plaintiff! Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉
It's the plaintiff getting the "crack head" punchline out of the way expeditiously, for me.🤣🤣🤣

I had to screenshot your comment. I needed that last line today. Thank you so much.
She was honest which is the first sign of change.
I hear ya but honestly recovering addicts say that because recovery is a life time not just a season
I expected dust to blow through the door when I saw the plaintiff and heard she was suing her step mother 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
She came in on some Riri ish like: B!t(h, betta have my money! 😂😂😂

Defendant definitely hit something on her way to court😮
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love judge Mathis 😊 You have to be clear when you talk to him. He won't let you get around it🤣🤣🤣
The defendant tried to pull a fast one, with the note, saying she didn't like the way it was written.
Did u pay attention if she would of agreed then it would of been a different outcome. She shot herself in the foot.
Are we sure the stepmom Isn’t the one on drugs???🤨🧐
Stepmom seems like she's the one on drugs.
I carry 2 sets of keys since the last time I got locked out. Locksmiths will charge you 200 and tear up your door. Extra keys are just a few bucks.

Stepmom looks younger than the daughter. Drugs are 🥶
The judge saw right through that lying wicked stepmother.
10:28 the plaintiff looked at Doyle for input, he turned his head quickly like- don’t put me in that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾.
The first person to announce she is a crackhead 😂😂 the mum did a terrible job raising her. 😢
That ending!!!! Yes girl! Speak up!
She figured she’d call herself a crackhead before he did
Yes

I'm here My Beloved Favorite Judge***ASHAY***
Stepmother is a liar
Judge Mathis respects the plaintiff for her honesty and transperancy! Wishing her well!
The plaintiff mom. Should be ashamed to force a child to do drugs smh. Ungrateful 😈.
the cut off at the end 🤣
The defendant looks like she's on something???
So Sad. I hope that the Plaintiff will continue to have a better life. She worked so hard to get clean and sober.
❤ she's a beautiful daughter, the stepmother will need her one day
I hope the best for the plaintiff.. she deserves happiness.

Step mother has resented her from the time she wed her father. She probably used every opportunity to tear the her down to her dad.
