I'm not a Clemson fan but have always respected Dabo for being an incredible coach. That being said, it's been a few years now that the program has been in obvious decline. Missing on two consecutive 5-star QB recruits hasn't helped, but the apparent refusal to adapt to the new era of college sports (transfer portal and NIL) has clearly had a negative effect. He can talk all he wants about how Georgia is going to "make a lot of teams look bad", and he's certainly not wrong. But the Clemson of 4-5 years ago would have never lost a game 34-3 - to ANYONE. They'll continue to be competitive in a bad football conference like the ACC, but Clemson will never again seriously compete for a national title unless Dabo lets go of some pride and stubbornness and embraces the new way of doing things.

Dabo is the life force in Clemson football. If he chooses to build and develop young men while coaching football then true Clemson fans will support that. Georgia is the most strapped roster and best coached program in the country. Dabo, "we do what's best for Clemson." I support him. We didn't look terrible. Everyone played their part. I have been a Clemson fan for a VERY long time and I will tell you that this was an embarrassment. Why is it that Dabo can't use the portal AND build and develop young men. Even one year with a good role model can make a HUGE difference in a young mans life. If Dabo needs 4 years to make a difference then maybe he should do better. Don't those young men in the portal deserve it too? Be that difference Dabo .
How much of the second half was we don't have the depth to rotate defensive players and therefore tired out? Georgia was able to rotate players and keep them fresh?

If Dabo is going to continue to not use the portal then Clemson needs a new coach.... That would be like an NFL team that refuses to pick up players in free agency. It's 2024 Dabo time to move into the modern era whether you agree with it or not, it IS here and you will NEVER compete without using it. I don't like it either but that's just the way it is now.
