- So I stumbled on a video by Nero Hunter which has the like a butterfly voicelines for Kiryu and Ichiban, aaand that's how I thought about this video.

What the fuck I just watched the entire video and started crying
A totally normal karaoke session for Kiryu.
So Kiryu was drunk, had a sudden epiphany in the karaoke and actually thought he was a butterfly, so jumped out of the window only to crash on the ground, on his head.
The head trauma made him hallucinating, and he saw his brother, Fishiki.
During his unconsciousness, he remembers his time with Koishiki, even hearing his voice as they sing together.
He then abruptly wake up, what he thought was Pishiki's voice was just another drunk dude, Eric André, that was showing off his rapping skills.
Flabbergasted, Kiryu tigerdrops him by reflex before he has a chance to finish his sentence.
Fin.

In a way, Kiryu becoming a Monarch butterfly can be seen as symbolic because the colors of the wings match the suit he wore when he became the Dragon of Dojima - when Nishiki was still by his side.
