  • The new thrust tube works amazingly well. I can only recommend it to anyone who owns an EDF Seagull.
    Please read the new manual, because the values of the flaps change due to the thrust tube.

    Great flying! Did you use a 40mm, or 50mm EDF? If you used a 50mm, how did you fit it to the internal motor mount? Cheers❤❤❤

      I have installed the recommended 40mm EDF from Pichler and have not had to make any changes.

    So sad the motor does so much noise... isn't there more silent motor??? The model look absolutely real, beautiful!!! Good video too!

      It's just a seagull 😉 . You only need the EDF for a short time, then it's quiet again.

      Thanks, it has always flown well, but the thrust tube makes it more stable with the EDF running.

      Yes, I read your comment on the video screen and noticed as well, how stable it has stayed when you gradually applied full throttle. Your flight inspired me!!

      Thanks, but with the thrust tube, and the settings given, it really does fly almost by itself now 😉

      By the way, is there any suggestion related to CG position?

      I flew a 1600mAh 2s Lipo, 5mm further forward, then it fitted again. The tube is only single-walled.

    This looks great
    Do you still use the mixes from the manual ?
    throttle to elevator and elevator to rudder?
    Thx

      @printpilot3d  2 года назад +1

      Hi, yes, but the one from the new manual. At full throttle, the flaps only go to the 0 position, no longer to the negative.
      And she no longer breaks out.

      Great
      Thank you
      Just downloaded the new manual
      Will print this asap
      Looks like a fantastic upgrade
      Congratulations

      If I'm honest, I was sceptical at first too, I didn't think it would make that much of a difference. I didn't glue it in either, so it's easy to change.

    Well done, congratulations! Very realistic!
    Do you respect the centring in the instructions? With my seagull it seems too far back?

    • @printpilot3d
      @printpilot3d  11 месяцев назад +1

      Everything was done as described in the instructions. Just had to print a new EDF holder in the meantime, material fatigue but everything is fine again
