This is Great ! This video starts on the corner of LAUREL AVE and SUNSET. I lived on Laurel when I first moved to L.A. in 1964 ! I was 19. SCHWAB'S was around the corner on SUNSET and "PANDORA'S BOX" A ROCK NIGHT CLUB was where the divider island is on CRESCENT HEIGHTS . FLOWER CHILDREN every night on SUNSET and Police ! Across the street was a great Italian Restaurant called Frascati's. I worked at LYTTON SAVINGS AND LOAN which was directly accross the street from the restaurant. I was 19, I loved it. It will never be the same. By the way, my old apartment on Laurel which I paid $120 a month for now rents for about $3,000 month !

thank you for this. this was my neighborhood for several years in the early 2000s. even though some of the names are different the real estate/buildings along Sunset are amazingly the same from 20 years ago. the main losses are Tower Records, Spago, Le Dome and I couldn't tell if Book Soup is still there but otherwise looks pretty similar. noticed how quiet it was because a lot of people were still on holiday break. (the Hollywood part of) L.A. always gets super quiet from mid-Dec to mid-Jan.
