I got one of these and I put the battery in. I glows green for a few seconds and does nothing. I hold it and it doesnt talk or do anything after that initial green light. I made sure to charge it all the battery all the way. The only thing I could think of is that there is a tag on the inside of the battery compartment. Am I supposed to take that off so it can work properly?
If you do try creating a version of this for the america market, I would be interested in what the gun should say in order to dominate people. Does it fire an air-propelled dart of some sort? there are many things to consider the purpose of this tool/weapon/toy.

+appleTD Basically in the Psycho-Pass world it's possible to scan a person's mind and determine the likelihood of them committing a crime, referred to as a Crime Coeffcient. People with Crime Coefficients above a certain level are considered latent criminals even if they have not yet commited a crime, and the Ministry of Welfare's crime enforcement division is tasks with arresting and in extreme cases executing these people. The Dominator is their standard-issue weapon; it scans the person's Crime Coefficient and determines the appropriate mode of fire based on the result. A normal person with a low Crime Coefficient will trigger-lock the weapon when aimed at them. A low-level latent criminal activates Paralyzer mode which fires a stun beam that disables the nervous system of the target, while aiming at a person with a critically high Crime Coefficient causes the gun to transform to Eliminator mode which fires an energy beam that causes the targets body to explode.
Yeah there is that mode too. It only shows up when the Dominator is pointed at a robotic enemy that is hostile to the user and outside the Sybil System's control since the other two beams are only effective against biological entities. Of course that makes it no less effective against humans as the Chief demonstrated when one of the Enforcers learned the truth about Sybil..
At one point in time I was willing to drop some bills for the $300 price tag on the Steins;Gate nixie tube clock. I'd probably drop over $1000 for a Dominator if it can cover every single transformation that appeared in the TV series.
