If you have 2 potatoes, make this super crispy potato snack. Cook simple and delicious like a pro
Ingredients and recipe:
Chop 2 potatoes
Add the potatoes to a pot
Pour 600ml water into the pot
Cook for 15 minutes on medium-high heat
Place the potatoes in a separate bowl
Add 1/4tsp salt
Add a pinch of black pepper
Smash the potatoes with a rolling pin
Add 2tbsp corn starch
Mix well
Add in 1tbsp of melted unsalted butter
Add in another tablespoon of corn starch
Brush oil on the bottom of a strainer
Rub oil on your hands so the mashed potato doesn't stick
Roll the mashed potato into spheres, then flatten them
Use the bottom of the strainer to press a design into the potato
Repeat
These instructions are for if you want to bake the potatoes
Brush egg wash on top of the potatoes
Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F/220°C
This is if you want to fry the potatoes
Medium heat
Pour olive oil in a pan
Fry for 3 minutes
Flip over and fry for another 3 minutes
Done!
After baking
Spread salted butter on top
