I've had mine 320i M sport touring G21 over 2 years now and I'm still enjoying driving it,what a nice review 👍🏼it doesn't matter if you have a 4 cylinder engine in your 3 series it's a fun and engaging car to drive like the 3 series always have been since the legendary E21. I agree the G21 is a step up from the F30.
Dont buy the x drive. The car is more heavy, less power and you need around 1litre more. If you dont life in the mountains dont get the x-drive. If somethink breaks it will be more expensive too. I drive all of this models because of my work, the 320i x-drive is the worst to drive as a daily.
I am seriously considering going for this g20 3 series, although I am still on the fence whether I should get the 320i or 330i. My budget is right around the middle in between them, I could comfortably get a good spec 320i M sport or if I stretch it a bit and get lucky with a good dealer price the 330i sport line/M sport. I will mostly be driving around town and a bit outside the city over the weekend (purely going on twisty roads to have fun etc.). Would you say the 320i has enough power to have fun with or should I go for the 330i? Also it is my first rwd car and with more than 150hp so even the 320i will feel quick at the beginning for sure but I'm worried it might get a bit boring later on. Thanks :)
I went for this G20 3 series last week and am picking it up from the dealership today. I got a 320e. I went for it as sort of a company car, and as I mostly drive around town, the hybrid could get me to and from the office in electric mode. My biggest recommendation would be that you test drive both of them, just to see if the engine power is enough for you, as they have a nice driving dynamic from the go (they kind of feel like porsches being sporty but still have that level of comfort to be able to comfortably drive them daily).
I will be honest, dont buy the 320i it is really weak.. the 330 alsow just has 4 cylinder but the beturbo let it kick. If you change to sport you really feel the difference. In the 320 you fell no difference and its boring. The 320d kicks a little bit bether but its still bad. Remember the 3series is heavy for this class.
Love the review! Subscribed! Thinking about getting a 320i. It sounds like you recommend the M-Sport pack to get the adaptive suspension? Are there any other packs you would recommend? Thanks
@@ParagonCarsLondon Thanks! The BMW dealer said there is no need for M-Sport Pro pack with the adaptive suspension. He reckoned the normal M-Sport suspension is fine. Would you agree?
Hi, great review of this car and the 320d. Question for you, I currently have a 69 plate Superb L&K with 36k on the clock, 4x4 and I think 272bhp. I’ve been looking at these G20 BMW’s online and think I’d have to go with the estate. I don’t do many miles a week, maybe 40 miles ish. In your opinion would you go for the petrol or diesel 320? I’d be looking around the 25k price point. Thanks

whats the maintenance cost like and any major breakdowns?
Great review, would love to see a G20 330e review
Great Review, I have the 2018 320i F30 with the B48 engine. Sport plus allows the back end to come out. It nice and playful.
Put a stage 1 remap - 260-70ps and you have a very well rounded machine
lol, don t do that, you re going to kill it
@@alexmihai8493maybe in like 10 years of driving it. it’ll last just fine.
Mmmm quite a few mapped ones have shit their pants
Would you recommend getting a x drive version over the rear wheel for uk daily driving not much motorway

I like the B48 but when you get to about 6k it’s flat, found that in both 330e and cooper s

i went from a 2016 320i to 330i in 2019 ( G20). Worth it- make the upgrade
I have completely the same situation. What did you get in the end?
In town, take public transport or a bike.

m sport pack alone is good enough but i’d get the technology pack as well. Gives you the full digital dash, harmon kardon sound and a head up display.

The bigger blue brake callipers are part of the M-Sport Pro pack as well as 19" wheels.@@zlad7687
Adaptive suspension is a must as per all reviews. My g20 has it and ride is not harsh

Glad you enjoyed it! I’d go for the petrol 320i as the 320d’s dpf will get clogged up if you’re not doing that many miles.
@@ParagonCarsLondon great thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.
does this car perform well at overtaking?
It's good enough, but the 330i is much better at quick overtakes.
What was the mpg on the 330i
How much bigger is this car compared to the f30? Or are they the exact same size?
The g20 is 8.5cm longer and 1.6cm wider than the f30
@@darrelmukandhla6548 thanks bro
You haven't got the flu, you have a cold for christ sake.
back end coming out...................dangerous
No that's where the fun starts! It's rear-wheel drive, huge selling point
