I know its a bit of a meme at this point where "Oh, trumps reviews are so bad" but in all honesty I love seeing these videos as kind of like a metagame analysis. It gives a little bit of insight in how a card can sneak up and really be a metagame terror and what cards to look out for in the future.

+JBennet9571 It can, but not often. It is so aggressive that unless the enemy has an endless stream of removal (and that right kind of removal), you usually overwhelm them lategame. Aggro vs aggro, then it gets interesting.

So can anyone help me understand why he gave Scourgelord Garrosh and Blood Razor a five star rating even though it mostly sees play in dead mans hand fatigue warrior which he himself rated a tier 3 deck. He mentions that Blood Razor sees play in a variety of control warriors but the only kind of control warrior that currently exists in the meta is the dead mans hand one. When he spoke about Scourgelord Garrosh he also only talked about the dead mans hand deck.
You know, Cryostasis actually isn't too bad with Runic egg or Shieldbearer on curve, since 0 attack minions unfreeze at the end of your turn almost 100% of the time (A bit buggy sometimes). And if you don't draw any of those combo pieces and drop a totem instead, Hyldnir Frostrider has the same effect on turn 3. The 4/4 statline makes up for the rare whiff on the 1-2 RE/SB-CS combo. If these cards are implemented properly, it makes a tier 3 deck to be sure. The rest of freeze Shaman is abhorrent, though.

34:48 (Non-mill) Valeera Deathknight decks have this weird "midrange" timetable for defeating your opponent when you don't get early god draw Edwin. If the game takes too long, you'll eventually get out valued by your opponent. Turn 9 Deathknight into turn 10 Vanish with all the Arcane Giant shenanigans. And then you attempt to kill your opponent ASAP before they are able to play out all the cards you just sent to their hand.
Seems like the original review footage is playing at a lower volume than the recent footage. If this is intentional, I would suggest lowering the differences in volume.
I feel like Hunter needs some sort of late game control legendary that does something based on how many 3 mana cards you have in your deck, if we're gonna see a true control Hunter, ya know? Also, I think the only reason Toxic arrow exists is because, in wild, you can go Dreadscale + Houndmaster + Toxic Arrow for 9 mana. It's essentially the Hunter's clunky version of Twisting Nether. :v In standard, you have a... worse? version of this for 10 mana: Bloatbat + Houndmaster +Toxic Arrow. The difference is that your opponent has a chance to silence the effect before it works, and when it goes off, you'll still have houndmaster alive.
Doesn't "Sees regular play in a Tier 3 deck" constitute a 3 star card? Because Control Pally is a Tier 3 deck and Pally DK is regularly run in that deck.

i've played priest zoo and actually did pretty well. i also made a murloc priest deck with shadow ascendant and did even better. it's basically murloc pally but with priest class cards in place of the paladin class murlocs. so obviously it's worse than murloc pally, but priest's hero power naturally synergizes with murlocs. it's not as bad as you'd think, but it's got to be a lot worse since the warleader nerf. when i tried it, it performed quite well. bonemare and kabal talonpriest work really well with murlocs, and coldlight seer works really well with lesser heal.
I think archbishop might see more play due to the fact that in my opinion it's a straight up hard counter to mill warrior/deadman's hand warrior. If dead man's hand warrior becomes a tier 1 in the meta deck, this becomes a possibly perfect counter to it since it gives you the dead man's hand combo while you also have a better hero power. HOWEVER, if the priest deck can still kill the warrior without it without problem then there's no need for the card.
Trump's changed the rating system. Now it's just 5-star if in tier 1, 4-star if in tier 2, etc. with +1 star if it defines that deck. It used to be: 5: *defines* a tier 1 deck or appears in multiple tier 1 decks 4: appears in (but doesn't define) a tier 1 deck or defines a tier 2 deck 3: occasional tech in tier 1 or appears in tier 2 decks 2: occasionally appears in tier 2 or below 1: never played in a serious deck
Hey trump, I'd like to suggest a change to your rating system to increase accuracy and to distinguish between "occasional tech cards" in tier 1 decks and the meta-defining best cards. Just add a 0 star rating. 5 stars - defining card in a tier 1 deck 4 stars - average card in a tier 1 deck or a defining card in a tier 2 deck 3 stars - average tier 2, defining tier 3 2 stars - average tier 3 etc. 1 star - some experimentation 0 stars - no play

Paladin always seems to get shafted in power level. Its a very defensive class when you look at it's collection of cards. I swear they are afraid to print any hard removal, aoe damage, or even good draw power for it.
If Dead Man's Hand Warrior becomes a thing, shouldn't Priest run Benedictus to hard counter them? I mean, if you play that against Dead Man's Hand Warrior you win most of the time. If you play it early, you might even copy both Dead Man's Hands, an if you run Devour Mind or Thoughtsteal you might get a second copy that way, especially later on, when their deck is only 3-5 cards big.
I think warlock is better than tier 3, if it's the proper deck played by a good warlock player, it easily competes with the tier 1 decks on a regular basis.
You're right but the same can be said of most decks. Some guy reached rank 1 legend with hunter, so it can compete with tier 1 decks in the hands of a skilled player. But for the majority of people playing warlock or hunter they're going to be tier 3 decks.
If the enemy does not have enough removal after Warlock DK goes off, then it is GG. That can happen pretty often, but not often enough for it to be a good deck. Warlock can get killed before the DK goes off, the enemy hits his face with spells, or produces a board stronger than his.
I think Krulzakus Warlock has potential. I've been playing it since the expansion hit with mixed results. I think it benefits from the new meta because the aggro and control match-ups are reversed compared to Jackie's list. I did have a positive winrate against Jade, but it might just be that my opponents were bad.
DK warlock is very helpful in adventures. He helped me beat heroic malchezar. His hero power totally counter Nazra ( first phase of malchezar). U can easy beat her hero power: summom 3/2 with charge. With surviving enough long u can use thaurissan and low mana cost of treachery, removal spell, dmg cards and majordomus - good otk combo for hard bosses :)

Play on x1.25 speed for normal human being speed and 1.5 speed for 'i only have 45 min' edition.

I think Krulzakus Warlock has potential. I've been playing it since the expansion hit with mixed results. I think it benefits from the new meta because the aggro and control match-ups are reversed compared to Jackie's list. I did have a positive winrate against Jade, but it might just be that my opponents were bad.

DK warlock is very helpful in adventures. He helped me beat heroic malchezar. His hero power totally counter Nazra ( first phase of malchezar). U can easy beat her hero power: summom 3/2 with charge. With surviving enough long u can use thaurissan and low mana cost of treachery, removal spell, dmg cards and majordomus - good otk combo for hard bosses :)
