Huh? He backed off because Smith still had his helmet on. I'm no fan of Richie but let's not tell a guy to charge a sword fighter if he doesnt have a sword.
No, I got your point. It's a dumb one. Everyone who knows anything about Incognito knows he's been a dirty player and has a huge mouth. This one 43 second clip isn't going to change anyone's opinion of him.
I know this is from years ago but I'm just now seeing it on here so I'm just now commenting on it. Damn right he was a prick but being a prick is a outstanding quality to have for a football player.
Why wouldnt Dolphin fans want you to see this video? All it shows is a Miami lineman kicking a defenders ass, then the defender losing his cool from embarrassment. This just makes the Dolphins look good. By the way, Tom Brady, watch out for your knees.
Smith clearly was defending himself. Incognito was poking his eyes and struck him in the throat. I wish smith would have had his concealed carry and a gun. Incognito needs to go to prison. He's more than a dirty player. He's just evil.
Nonsense, linemen do not do this all the time and when they do, it's flagged. One this severe would see an ejection today. It's controversial because someone could be seriously injured. "It is a foul if an offensive blocker: Thrusts his hands forward above the frame of an opponent to contact him on the head, neck, or face Note: Contact in close-line play that is not direct and forcible is not a foul. TWISTING, PULLING, OR TURNING THE FACEMASK No player shall grasp and control, twist, turn, push, or pull the facemask of an opponent in any direction. Note: If a player grasps an opponent’s facemask, he must immediately release it. If he does not immediately release it and controls his opponent, it is a foul. Penalty: For twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, or controlling the mask: Loss of 15 yards. The player may be disqualified if the action is flagrant. If the foul is by the defense, it is also an automatic first down." operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-video-rulebook/illegal-use-of-hands-facemask/
