I just laughed at him and told him I could get them for half that price. I ended up buying 4 etbs off a cool dude for $60 a pop and ended up pulling the Rainbow Rare Charizard Vmax.

I was careful to order directly from Amazon and not a marketplace seller but still received crap. So returned those today and ordered from you hoping to have better luck. Thank you for still having them in stock, been awful trying to locate without crazy markups. Just to note: I always try to buy from local shops but lately, just too crazy of markups to justify. I kept pdf saves of the pop reports for base set from last month and compared it to the live page this month and there have been 0 new psa 10 base set charizards added since 18th November! only 4 new blastoise psa 10s

I think the saturation for scalpers has peaked and many are over leveraged so we will no start to see product blown out in the secondary market cheap. HF and XY Evo is still hot though.

I find this pretty interesting. I remember like almost 10 years ago i would see them online for about 110-120, and even then I thought that was too much. I would just buy them in person from someone who had a good relationship with distributors who would do 80 a box. Now its around 130-170 a box online.

What is the MSRP for a VV booster box supposed to be? It’s still working out cheaper for me to buy 36 individual VV booster packs than a sealed box, here in UK. Plenty of boxes available but even the major retail stores have hiked box prices up 25%+. Only place it works out £10-20 cheaper is from eBay sellers, which I refuse to use based on previous purchases. Hopefully they lower their prices as they start to see demand drop, as all this is causing my interest to dwindle.

I think they won't stay this cheap for long. If you are buying them to sit, you may be ok still. There will definitely be more produced later though, so it's impossible to know for sure.
Because if they say fill all requests from top accounts, I'd have to come up with 40 grand to spend on a single product. My store is doing ok and we're decent sized, but I don't have that to sink on every product on every restock.

There's probably reasons for that - stores sometimes makes boxes more expensive because they WANT you to buy individual packs.
