woah you're an awesome composer and from what I've seen so far I'm definitely a fan! This really reminds me of the constantinople song and I love how you shook things up at 1:34- that trumpet player is almost certainly dead though
Woah…. It was giving gamepigeon remix and then turned into a roundabout chase like the musicians were getting chased and playing this as they were running away
This is pretty good, only thing I can see that would be noteworthy is the lack of a trombone 3, most jazz bands are three tenors and a bass, then either a string or electric bass and more rarely now a tuba
generally good ideas for someone that isn't too experienced, but work on having less ideas. Less ideas, develop them more. Give love and attention to all parts, even if it sounds good on the playback. There are some parts that appear seemingly random but sound fine on the playback. This would be confusing for a real player. Same with the accelerando in the drums before the big shout chorus - it will be extremely difficult for a real band to make the entry in unison. Other general notes are to always have dynamics underneath the note, never on a rest. Think back to pieces you've played yourself. Make use of more crescendos and vast dynamics. The trumpets would benefit from more harmonic parts in the build-up to the final shout. Excessively high notes on the trumpet are like alcohol - good in moderation. Like dynamics, excessive range hits hardest when there are softer and less high parts to compare to. While what you've written is certainly possible for a good trumpeter, even maynard ferguson would have trouble considering how consistently high and loud the solo trumpet part is. The piece has good ideas and you'll certainly be a good professional grade composer if you keep at it!! ***** my partner made this comment, he knows much more about composition than me hahah
Amazing. God blessed you with an incredible talent! Keep it up! And yes, this is very much jazz. Everything is jazz, but this is very much so in all the right ways. Romans 10:9 ❤God bless!❤❤
what's your email? i'm a percussion composer, so i could help greatly on adding some 'pizzaz' to your pieces, whether that's concert band or jazz. (i've got a channel also)
Concert style theatrical jazz.

Yeah, I'm sure he's fine...
As a trumpeter, I would like to say that if I was handed the solo part I would probably pass out
Same man
This is going into my music playlist
This may not be typical jazz but this is some crazy good stuff!
I feel honored! Thank you!
I actually really like this! Preatty amazing for "not knowing what you're doing"
Seriously man, I have no clue what I'm doing, I had fun tho, I guess thats what counts!
doesnt too sound bad! awesome stuff u made
Sounds good! And actually, that solo part does sound tough but by NO means impossible, especially from professional players
Add hi hat pedal on 2 and 4 for the kit part and maybe a swing ride cymbal part. It would add a little more texture. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!
Will do for my next “Jazz” piece!

Yeah, I don’t know what I was doing, I had fun making this though.

Keep paramedics on stage for the trumpet omg
Yeah… He’s fine…
He’s just napping on stage, right?
Bro that shit goest hard keep. It going
Awesome!
not really jazz but cool either way
Can’t say you’re wrong, but I’m glad you liked it!
🙌Jazzical🙌
Also it sounds awesome (my lip burst from hearing the trumpet solos)
yoooo i play trumpet as well
no upright bass or piano?
I also enjoy ending my pieces on a nice Bbm(6, 9, b9, #11)
Which you could also call a Gdim7(b11, 13)
Not really jazz at all, but still really cool!
Yeah
idk why but it reminds of donkey kong music. Maybe because the drums?
Huh, maybe.
more nine eleven and thirteen, 2 5 1 chords then you got jazz
Yeah, again, I don’t really know what I’m doing, chords are one of my weak points in composing.
Not jazz -jazz police🤓

It´s nice, but you used to often fifth and eight parallels in the voices
Ok, I understand your point, but I honestly don't see the problem with power chords, I wanted the harmony to be simple, but I do get your point.
