After this video was posted NISA responded to my email. I won't quote it here but TLDR they stated they will review key requests the same on Keymailer as they did on their press site and that they will not only be basing requests on sub count/views. Makes me feel a big better but we'll see how it shakes out in practice.

"JRPG creators" as in youtubers that make videos about JRPG games.
    Not actual JRPG creators, lol.

Yes, I would have used the word Developers if I was talking about people making the games, but I do see how there could be a misunderstanding. I'll look into an alternative title.

I think NIS is cutting costs maybe because of how bad some of their titles are doing it.

Do note, NIS and NISA are not the same company. Closely related, yes, but not the same.
So something like this would be on NISA's end, the Western publisher, and not NIS, the Japanese developer.
NISA themselves have been doing fine, especially from publishing Falcom's and even FuRyu's games. NIS proper however have indeed been consistently underperforming.

@@shadowmaksim NIS A its just a brench of NIS no? If that is the case if NIS is doing bad that means that NISA its just not enough? But yeah maybe im wrong I dont understand business that much.
Is FuRyu games doing that well?
