What is the difference between DIRECTIONAL and NON-DIRECTIONAL HYPOTHESES? What even is a HYPOTHESIS?
Every experiment starts with a hypothesis - predicting the outcome of the experiment. Directional hypotheses predict the direction of a relationship between the independent variable and dependent variable, whereas non-directional hypotheses simply predict there will be a relatonship, but without specifying a direction.

Thank you so much :))
Very helpful! Your details explanation, clear examples, and funky "American" accent (and the fact that I could rewind the video and look at your highlighted text) made a huge difference! I understand Directional and Non-Directional hypothesis finally! :) Mahalo from Orem, Utah, USA! :) 🙃🤙🏾😊
