A few years ago I said Billy Strings is going to be right up there with the best of them. He’s there now. Molly Tuttle belong up there too. They are exceptionally talented and likable.
Will hell yeah, stage full of bluegrass superstars, at the Ryman! Thanks for sharing this one. The Ryman films their shows in high res and premium audio so will be looking for it.
What a way to come full circle. The last song I saw billy play in Alabama was “Tennessee” and the first song I see him play in Tennessee is “Tennessee.” This tickled me pink. Thanks for the uploads!
Great video! Really nice song with some great harmonies! Thanks for sharing this classic performance! I'm going to thumbs up and subscribe to support your channel! Happy and healthy 2022!

what are they all doing? not a criticism but I'm curious how 13 people all play at the same time and have it not be a mess. Are most on them just basically adding to the rhythm? That is, not doing much until they are called upon? How many of them actually have to be at rehearsal?

I came here for Michael Cleveland, and I got a whole lot more!
That’s a lot of talent all in one group. Billy has come a long way with his own skills, happy to see him in this group.
The amount of talent on that stage is nearly unprecedented .
It spans at least a couple of generations, maybe more?
The allstars of the old guard with the new young stars. Love it. Billy Strings and Molly deserve to be included with the legends.
Right on, bro!
The future of Bluegrass is secure.
Don't forget Sierra Hull!

Big time talent !!! They left of Sierra on the billing !!!!
As I enter my seventh decade I’m beyond pleased to know my greatest love (after my family) is in safe and talented hands.
Brian, I’m of the same vintage as you, and yes, the torch has been passed to some very talented youngsters.
Seeing this show live was one of the greatest musical experiences of my life.
I’m so envious!
Spectacular

Mark Schatz has the best smile in Bluegrass.

There was so much talent on stage that they told Bryan Sutton to just go hang out in the back row and strum some chords.
wow! that's some good pickin and singin'!
Cast of thousands !
You can't count.
I need to move to Tennessee!
Thanks for sharing!! 💕
Billy is a very worthy stand in for Tony Rice, that's the only thing that would have made this complete.
All these guitar player are a good stand in for Tony Rice.
That was literally from the Hill's of Tennessee , I could smell smoke and Hickory ,hear the creaking of old wooden floors..,.
Bluegrass heaven
The home of Betty Crocker in the hills of Tennessee:)
Davey Crockett.
They need to play at the Station Inn!
Yes, but 148 seats is not quite enough for this group.
Was that Matt Despain playing next to Jerry Douglas on dobro. And, like everyone else…..what a gathering of talent on one stage.
No, it’s Justin Moses, Sierra Hull’s husband. He played dobro, banjo and fiddle at this show. Amazing!
uuuuhhhh….. Whoa!
Wow!
Jimmy would be proud.

I bluegrass everybody holds down the rhythm.it's called a Jam man they know what there doing you don't.
They all usually play in a certain key and they’ll keep rhythm and then take turns soloing for a bit. Jamming out!
@@mbsnyderc lol whats wrong with you. I was asking a question because I wanted to know what they were doing. You respond with an insult. nice.
@@sonofphilip8229 because it you said it like that.whats wrong with you that you don't get that.
@@mbsnyderc "not a criticism" read again
Jerry Douglas!!
Jerry Douglas walks on water! He is the best dobro player, ever!
Had they all been wearing glitter-covered knee-high boots and twerking in rhythm, it might have made the grade
😂😂😂
Sam and Bela like Billy because he plays like TONY RICE. Sings a bit different though.
Who's picken da banjer?
Bela Fleck And Tony Trischka.
