Baby Deer (fawn)

- Baby deer on road scares us and mom hears her cry and come to its rescue. The fawn was almost being run over by cars, so we had to stop and do something. Leaving it on the side of road wasn'tan optionso we picked ot up and put it in the woods.@OpenAirAdventure
Picking up a baby deer will not cause the mother to reject the fawn. Picking up a baby deer could jeopardize its non-scent defense against predators, predators could possibly smell the human scent and give away the babies location. Baby deer have no scent and stay silent while mom looks for food. This situation gave us no choice but to move the fawn to a safer location. ❤

Thanks! You too!
Good job, everyone. ❤
Thank you❤
You are a awesome person brother Kenny 😊
Thank you pal
The mothers are usually not far. They leave the newborn deer safe somewhere and can then get some food while the baby sleeps. This fawn looks new-born and may have been born overnight when the road was quieter. Good on you to find out what to do. All worked out in the end. It's hard to not want to "rescue" them. I don't know how I would handle a situation like this. You did the right thing.
Its a beautiful place and happy to watch helping that baby deer enjoy and thanks for sharing
Thank you❤
I’m glad the precious little baby is safe and with it’s mother ❤

This is the fiest of your videos I have watched and I was on the endge of my chair all the way through hoping for the outcome that happened. It was great that you stopped and the Hope For Wildlife sound like a great organisation
Thanks brother ❤
Kenny, that is such a touching video! Great job of getting baby united back with Mom! Take care!
Thanks guys, it was very emotional but rewarding.
Never know what situations life will throw at us. We make the best decisions we can at the time and roll with it
10 4 buddy thank you
Nice rescue and nice video. Thank you for sharing 👍
Thank you❤
Well, I think getting the fawn off the road was the right decision. The likelihood of it getting struck by car is to high. So, I say good job. And then waiting to make sure momma dear was reunited with the fawn......👍👍 I know these types of situations can be tough to decide what's the right thing to do. But following your heart is always good and it ended well. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Josh ❤
HAHA! A little excitement. That is how deer do things. They will "drop" the little one and come back for it later. The fawn is odourless at that age and by laying still in the grass predators can't smell them out.
See ya next time✌
10 4 Marc..thankyou❤
God Bless Your Kind Heart. I saw you holding back tears. You're a very kind soul.
It was very emotional, thanks for watching.

I heard you mention that in your video. The little one was injured. Nature can be cruel and hard, but that's just the way it is. Nice chatting with you.

Das a trip…. Momma deer gives birth and does a 7-foot bounce over a ditch!
Human momma gives birth and has a hard time walking to the bathroom to pee.
@htownpony8449
As a woman, not sure if you were trying to insult human moms but, every species has their good & bad, &/or "moment." And every woman experiences things a little differently than the last. That goes for men as well.. Maybe just a bad day for the woman you're referencing?
Такие они хорошенькие эти малыши❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you
Thank u so much for helping this little cuite we all would get emotional I would have done the same thing all gods little creatures deserve to live
Thanks, I agree with you, it felt like the right thing to do.
Nice work reuniting baby and mama

Hello sir what are the chances of survival of baby fawn ??
Because predators like wild dogs /Jackal/Hyenas/They always target on Babies
It's hard to predict survival rate. Different areas have different predators or more of them. Even human traffic can play a role.
@@OpenAirAdventure Ok sir Thanku
Hyenas and jackals don't exist in America
Cute
Thank you Dave❤
How's she goin"? Well good on you folks for tending and caring for the fawn. Pretty nice to give up your day and Hope For Wildlife is pretty awesome too eh to send someone out, even though it took some time. I hope mamma gets the little one and is able to look after it and get it back in shape. Take care!!
Thank you friend
❤❤❤
Thanks Jack❤
perfect outcome.....you did the wright thing. .so many times people, in general, find baby animals. fledging ,rabbits, etc. in there yard and pick them up and want to help them...leave them be or put back in their nest, their mother knows best . . then they take them to places like animals for hope, because it isn't easy caring for a wild animal, and this adds to there work load. Taking up valuable resources. Great video....side note if people want to help wildlife make a donation to your local wild life rescue facility....money, food or blankets are always welcome.
Thanks bro❤
