  • Summer finally arrived, at least for a few days, the perfect opportunity to get out for a Wildcamp on the quieter side of Kinder Scout. Hiking up from the village of Hope up the old Roman Road to Crookstone Knoll. Fantastic array of Wildlife on the hike up, before cooking up a meal on the Trangia, followed by a pretty spectacular sunrise.

Nice editing on the cooking mate. You’d never know how much of a faff and a laugh it was from that! 😂
One of my favourite spots so far I reckon.

Great video. Was thinking your stove issue might be that your frying pan needs to rest on the 3 fold out stands. The fire needs air flow to let it breathe. Keep in camping and cooking, appreciate it

Probably right to be honest but it happened on the little Trangia Triangle also. I’m convinced it was the burner all sutted up from the last camo but anyway, thanks for watching 👍

Tricky one with the Peak District to be honest as there’s technically only two mountains as such with Kinder being one. Alport Castles or Derwent Edge are probably a good bet but I haven’t tried them myself yet.

We wonder why its getting harder to camp these days, then you come on RUclips and see all these videos giving away spots and showing illegal camping, ruining it for the rest of us all so you get views on social media. The world is a mess
