I wish they allowed artist to do this to all buildings no longer in use. Recycle them to something beautiful.

Jellyfish, mushrooms and under the sea; my three favourite "obsessions" when it comes to drawing/painting/writing... there's just something about these three things that inspire my creativity like nothing else... I thought I was the only one that absolutely LOVES to paint and draw jellyfish and mushrooms! It's also how they have so much flexibility with colors and shapes, so it's super interesting and fun to be creative with it.
There's an incredible looking jellyfish on the Nautilus channel. It looks like a firework with bright green, pink, blue and purple.
I love your painting. The black really sets off the colors.
im doing interior renovation for the living & hav been trying to propose these kind of work to my clients but there is not much demand for this where i live unfortunatly ... so i ended up doing it for myself only..... i hav an advice for u, take it or leave it but here its is : dark colors hav tendency to give the ilusion of a smaller room & bright colors hav the oposite effect, for a room u plan to live in i would suggest to avoid dark font, i've tried dark fonts & despite the fact the project was a success from the artistic perspective, it was depressing to live in it & i ended up recovering it after 3 years coz i was bored of it, i tried pastel colors after that & it felt much better, i also tried no color at all, just white + shades of grey & this gave me the best results so far.
When u are painting a room u need to think about the atmosphere u want to create, the proportion of light/dark, the colors used & their intensity plays a major role in it, the pattern itself is secondary
Best way to figure that out is to do your tests in the room u spend the most of your time & use faillures to progress

OMG!!! This is SO AMAZING ! How sad for it to be destroyed, but at least you knew that going in. I'm pretty sure if my apartment walls were painted like this I'd just hang some fairy lights all over, throw down a few bean bag chairs and buy a lot more large houseplants to decorate, and that would be it, no other furniture, no knick knacks, nothing so I could just literally spend my days staring at my 4 walls, my amazing 4 walls. I'd also be listening to this music. Thank you so much for sharing this, it's all so beautiful.😍💖

I painted murals in rooms for a while for work and I can't agree with you more, if you put on headphones and lose yourself in what you're doing, in a space like that, time just stops. Or there is no time. Just you and the music and the paintbrushes. It's honestly my favorite way to paint. Who needs food? Just give me a bunch of blank walled rooms and some paint and leave me there. lol. You are amazing. Thank you so much for sharing; I so wish I could see it in person. Very happy it's existence is saved here, in cyberspace :) Also, glad your hand is okay and you are on the mend!

Yeah I wanna do my bedroom wall too but a bit worried about the cost - not just the volume, the sheer array of colours! Itd look a bit poo with limited colours, or half finished! If it looks poo my landlord will be so pissed😄

Being a musician all my time goes into producing music, but now I think I found what to do with not only my down time, but also founding another muse for my creations. I started my career painting murals. What you said about it being relaxing is perfect! After doing lots of murals, I went on to learn decorative wall finishing, and was blessed to learn it in the European style, and loved it! I specialized in gilded techniques, as it came easy to me. I stopped all of it when I became pregnant with my oldest daughter, and now I do murals for "charity". However, as an artist it is essential to keep doing art, otherwise for me, I don't feel whole. Anyway, I taught myself how to draw using graphite and colored pencils. I prefer the "black and white" drawing the most. Although it was very hard to go from blowing everything up to life sized paintings, to making it small enough to fit on paper. But... my absolute favorite type of art to do is drawing! This is amazing!!

One of my favorite parts about the mural wall is the gradual shift in tones and the wide range of colors used. Of course, I love the underwater theme, but it's the colors that give it some life to it. Also, through the process I could see you were enjoying yourself.

The mushrooms and beautiful colors remind me of a children's book (I don't know the name) from when I was young. It is about a creature who steals all the color and in the end when the color is back, it also has these beautiful rainbow colors and mushroomlike plants
