Rings of Power looks pretty good. The key to enjoying it is to remember to think of it as fan-fiction; it becomes _far less offensive_ that way, and you can just enjoy the ride.

Story looks interesting but there is precious little in the trailer to make me feel like this Hellboy is formidable. I don't want to see him running scared like a protagonist in a Midsommar rip off. Not saying that's what the movie will be, but the trailer shows him popping a snake's head, and that's pretty much it. Otherwise he looks pensive and scared. I hope they give me a better trailer, because I agree that the story looks much deeper than either the first Del Toro or the Last Reboot.

I like the look of the jackal being turned into a series. The Bruce Willis one was great, never saw the original version though.
