- What’s up Panther Nation! Back outside in Spartanburg SC for another training camp evaluation! This time I was fortunate enough to get a good view on scrimmage drills. Panthers hosted scrimmages on the other side of the practice field, making it a bit harder to film. However, we still got a solid look at our guys and defense was the stand out today! Full pads came back on and defense brought the heat! Bryce Young looked solid for the most part however, the defense forced Bryce to throw away a lot of balls and forced him out of his spot a few times. Overall, very competitive practice! I remember years ago a dude i went to highschool with almost made the Panthers. He had a good pre season but was released because we had some pretty good wrs. His name was dion Thompson i think he's out of Durham NC
Yeah man the NFL is very competitive and limited. I personally knew a few guys as well who competed for a spot. More recently, a guy named Duke Austin from my college (UNCC) was cut after being signed as an undrafted free agent. It’s a tough league and it’s all business
