@@graeyn_ I recall back when there was a similar case in South Korea the players that could make it played at the stadium while the players that couldn't make it used something like SurfShark to play the stuff remotely. e.g. one team only had two players that could make it to the stadium so the other three played from home but they all joined the lobby all the same as a team of five
@@WintermintP yeah, the tournament holder said they tried to work something out like that with TwitchCon but it wasn't feasible for this event. unfortunate but it is what it is, and at least we got Dokkuno out of it

Still convinced the event was handled rather half-arsed. What a clown show.
@@WintermintP Sajam already explained everything post Slam, and the complications of making the finale work. It's a shame you're willing to disregard the work of multiple weeks of the event and the explanations given because 3/30 people couldn't attend the finale, especially given that TwitchCon is much bigger than the slam and could not accommodate them the same way an FGC event would and 3 players involved were very obviously not attending the finale from the beginning, but you're entitled to think how you like. I'm just glad they had fun because Vivi and Doki both clearly love the event.

they both couldn't make it, probably for privacy reasons, so they were replaced by other people at their level from the teams that didn't make it
