V can solo arasaka and adam smasher by walking through the front door dying of stage 5 brain cancer and having multiple seizures throughout so yes i think reed needs ALOT of help
Tho the events haven’t happened canonically In game I wish there would be more instances of others recognizing Vs edgerunner Status there’s only a few instances where people will realize who v is and back off I wish reed wouod would mention something at least but doesn’t matter of your 90% or not in most cases

@@baciu14Debatable since the Adam Smasher V fights is probably far more powerful, at least lore wise since he has a brand new sandevistan that Morgan couldn't have even fought back against unless he also got one, and thats if he even needs to use it against Morgan before he uses the rest of his cyberware like his rockets

Maybe it’s not in their character but V should have more dialogue options to let the posers of night city know they aren’t one to be trifled with. Not to brag per-say but to just be like “yes I am the one who stole the relic from Arasaka, saved the president, took on a private army almost single-handedly, wiped out over a dozen lieutenants in all of NC’s gangs including several leaders, have had mega corps try to kill me and failed as they kept loosing skilled assassins, and have the hardware of a armoured mech and the software of a supercomputer. So, given this new information, would you please get out of my way?”
there are a few of them. Not many though, but the ones that come to mind:
1. I think it's called day in the life? In Santo, there's a beverage guy, but two guys are trashing his bike cause his sister became a corpo. As long as you don't start killing them halfway through, one of them notices you, and decides to book it.
2. also in santo? there's a resturant/ bar, when it gets robbed. You can intimidate them into fucking off.
3. also in santo? bruh wth- but there's cassidy, bob and Carol iirc (the nomads), and they're there to do a deal with scavs. you can intimidate the scavs into making the deal go smoothly.

This shows something that underpins a lot of PL: the NUSA constantly underestimates V; they treat V like a small-time merc with no skill in spy craft, who can be quickly dispatched if necessary. So if you choose to side with Song it completely throws them for a loop and they loose dozens of spec-operatives and one of the FIA’s best agents trying to take out V at the spaceport. Seeing the shear havoc V can unleash is probably what convinced Myers to stop hunting them, only assigning Alex to kill them as a half-hearted measure. I mean, if Myers really wanted revenge that badly, she’d have the resources, but it just doesn’t make sense to lose more valuable assets to this terminally ill mass-murderer just because they took away your favourite WMD.

I’m 100% sure V is more powerful than all the old legends. He’s literally solo’d certain death missions and Arasaka HQ. The last attempt on the tower took two teams of legends and a nuke. V just walks in and wins all while having terminal brain cancer
To be honest that brain cancer was both killing and empowered V at the sametime. It granted V extreme resistance to cyberpsychosis so they can chromed the fuck out to theirs heart content.
This part made me laugh if I was actually V I would’ve been more afraid of Alex then Reed
fr when she killed hansen i did not expect her to pop a sandy and stab him half a hundred times in the blink of an eye.

It's quite a similar situation as with woodman (whom you can intimidate given you've completed the right mission first) or the tiger claws bosses in regards to clouds... I was like "guys, I have proven I can sneak into your high security Appartments, kill your bosses, wreak havoc on the streets... Shouldn't you at least wait for my death before retaking clouds? I mean I could practically just kill more and more of your bosses..."
Yea, Cyberpunk has a huge discrepancy between gameplay and cutscenes.
Well you can flex on Woodman if you kill someone for a Gig or NCPD mission from Tyger Claws and he shits bricks and spills everything.

It's funny because if you scan him he really is chromed out pretty well including "heavy subdermal armor" but we can zero him with a single chest shot

@@ramoninoodles Alex is also caught of guard in that scenario, the blackwall pulse knocks her out of her disguise, and Hansen had advantage since he was already alerted by So Mi before she did the pulse.
@@pinnacleevolution1634I'm gonna be honest, face to face no surprises, Hansen still takes her or Reed out. Compared to all the other bosses he actually gives V a decent fight. Alex is probably around Reeds level, who can get easily killed by V. Alex also gets easily disarmed by V aswell.
I hate that some characters don´t understand that V might be the strongest Man/Woman in the cyberpunk verse. I started a whole new save and when i got to phantom liberty dlc i was already lvl 60 with 50 lvl street cred and had over 1mil eddies. you mean to tell me i´m no living legend?

@@lpg8255 The four legged drill press you encounter in the cynosure lab is the strongest thing in the game. Can't be damaged, moves like lighting, kills anything it touches.

The main game's pacing issue is the true reason behind this, and it's unfixable. The entire main story immediately moves to the "you're dying" stage, so there's no proper build up to V becoming a merc, moving up the ranks with Jackie, becoming the city's top merc. Imagine if the bulk of the game was this + side missions + gigs, and the current main story was just the final act.
@@skarlock5257 The ai stops your cyberware so you can´t really hack it or do anything. but yeah, Ai from beyond the black wall is stronger. and still, V as a Netrunner should be stronger than these ai and songbird

Meanwhile V can storm Arasaka tower alone, and zero essentially everyone in the tower, and adam smasher while smashers getting assistance while V is dying, and being nerfed by the relic. Ill give Reed this V ain't Blackhand, he's even better than Blackhand lol, he finished what Blackhand couldn't.

So one detail, in the final scene V can also die to Reed with a single shot, it's all a matter of choices and the script never involves a one-on-one fight

They literally can tho. At this point people are just plain ignorant on purpose. We canonically see run of the Mill Cyberpsychos tank tons of Bullets, MaxTac doing the same. Then you have V, who is basically Cyberpunks Jesus. And people still say "nah he ain't that strong." Despite the Fact the entire Story was made with the heavy involvement of Mike Pondsmith.
I guess y'all just know better than the literal creator of the entire Genre.

The only thing that's a real danger to V is that stupid robot on the other route, because it's literally cheating.
One of the biggest advantages V has is that people underestimate him and that my friends is one of the deadlines mistakes you can make. It makes sense no one knows what he's actually capable of considering that no one's Left alive to tell the story
Honestly one of the funnest weapon combos I had was a Sandevistan with optic Camo and the “Her Majesty” pistol. That with your tech tree built up for crit headshot damage is too damn powerful
'Her Majesty' is just crazy in-general, my build completely sucks for pistols and HM *still* performs the BEST out of any Iconic Handguns I own.
Does sandy work well with tech weapons though? The charge up time doesn't get increased, so do you just no charge it? And it still one shots? What difficulty were you on then?

Also I never said Blackhand can get as many cybernetics as V, I said if he decided to chrome himself as much as he could then V would struggle.
Blackhand even back then wasn't chromed like most people, he decided to take an organic route and he still performed above the average merc and became a legend. His tactics were to plan about find any weaknesses and use that to his advantage unlike V who would charge in head on. If he decided to get a Sandy and armour, V would struggle to keep up with not only his speed and skills but also every weakness they have being taken advantage of by Blackhand.

@@giovannibalsamo6178 this is the correct answer right here. the way blackhand got around not being as chromed was by out thinking and out preparing his opponents. Hes like batman almost in the way he approaches a fight mentally. If he wanted to kill V, he'd just wait, though keep in mind theres not a 0% chance V finds a cure in at least 2 of the endings. Also in the new ending, if you played a V with minimal chrome, they only really need to recover from the coma and then they'll be right back to the best merc in existance.
So theres a non 0 chance that blackhand would HAVE to take V on if they encountered eachother, in which case poor blackhand.
@@declancampbell1277 morgan vs endgame V would some kind of batman vs superman stuff... V can get potentially any kind of cyberware while morgan is like about 120 years old and not at his prime anymore considering also his cyberware was limited to just sandevistan, optics, a cyberarm and neural port. Knowing of a possible showdown, probably morgan would study V for days learning her patterns and tactics and would put together a strategy to defeat her or to avoid the fight at all... something like striking an alliance with a third party fixer tasked to contact V and manipulate her in order to involve her on a suicide mission letting V believe there is a cure for her disease (basically the same that mr.blue eyes did to songbird to make her put in motion her plan to steal the cynosure neural matrix). Morgan saw so much shit in his life that is unlikely he would be impressed by V.
V is the definiton of survival.
So no V is not Morgan blackhand, infact he is much more than that.
In my first playthrough I basically missed this very intensce scene of him going on his knees accepting his failure, being used to the Very Hard difficulty and straight headshotting him.

I think Reed speaks of himeslf and the NUSA/FIA as being 'one', so he's not really calling V out on a one-to-one
V can solo Arasaka tower by just walking through the front door. Take down Smasher to the scrapheap with ease. And get out like no big deal. Morgan would have to be one tough son of a bitch to top that if Reed knows what he is talking about.
I mean even if you nerf V a lot. Reed would get smashed by Oda, Sasquatch and Hansen in a straight 1v1. And if you choose the sneaky route with boss fights whats Reed gonna do against a merc that slips out of sight in half a blink then shows up with 30 knives in his back

Really puts into perspective that V isn't as strong as he/she is in lore as he/she is in gameplay. Which makes sense because the game is an rpg like Skyrim, Fallout, Starfield, etc.

Not necessarily correct because the game and characters acknowledge V's feats in don't fear the reaper ending. Reed here is just being delusional. Case in point In one of the endings we kill him... alongside.murdering a FIA invasion force.
That doesn't make any sense. In lore we beat Adam smasher, we beat oda. We can even kill reed. Everyone V Kills is someone they have actually killed

Yeah, its a game with a lotta different endings. One where V solos Arasaka tower, and another one where he dies from a .45 acp to the head. Dunno which one is canon though.
@@Ash-jq8wn It doesn't matter what ending you choose, the fact that V can solo Arasaka means that V is capable of soloing Arasaka. If you choose to kill yourself, V is still capable of soloing Arasaka. That's canon.
