Just gonna add a warning here . I've discovered the 230 series has an issue regarding the heater blower , in that excessive use of the 4th fan speed , can result in overheating , and serious damage to the fuse block . I actually discovered the result of this , while familiarising myself with my own van after purchase , a year 2000 Hymer 584 , based on a 2.8 , x230 , L14 chassis . I discovered fuse 13 missing , and in its place , melted plastic around the pins . On closer examination , i noticed the melting plastic was coloured , and on removal of the block found heavy scorching to the back , with the fuse block beginning to melt . An internet search revealed this was a known fault , with several other people suffering from the same problem . I decided to replace my fuse block , and began the search . It took 3 years to locate one , which eventually came from a breaker , in Lithuania . I finally replaced it last year .
I’m trying to fix the dashboard radio section. Right hand side is lower than the left by almost a centimetre. I’m guessing a broken bracket or a rather loose or missing screw. Any ideas?
Thanks so much for sharing this, found it useful when trying to remove the same panel in my 1995 b544 to see why radiator is leaking under footwell.
I had same problem. Its because of bad condition of hose from engine. You have to change it.

Brilliant thanks a very good video
Hope it helped! Nothing worse than a broken heater this time of year.

Yeah sounds like somethings broken there. Should be level from what I remember.
