Meet up. And add the monsters in to a list together
Both players ban out 3 monsters
then each take turns picking monsters 4 times :3
Kill amount can be up to yall
Who ever gets first pick gets a massive advantage, they could just make goblins a monster and screw over the other guy

@@HarroKitteh I think a better idea is to just have Rargh (or Link) divide the monsters into two lists. Then Link (or Rargh) gets to choose which list of monsters they kill, and which list the other person kills. The optimal strategy is to make the lists as balanced as possible, so there's no massive advantage for either person.
PvP challange: minigames only for like 2-3hours

could double as an item sync, you buy items from the ge on normal servers but are on an open pvp world much like the ones that exist already, tho the ge is the only safe zone. when you leave that server so do the items on you and in the bank, as well as your opponents (same if in teams). So theoretically with certain limits in place it couldnt be possible to grind for tbows and dump them to raise the price, but maybe whips or rune scims might see a small rise or even barrows items.
Or... pick 6 minigames to do. :)

The rule was you can only use items exactly the way they drop from a monster. If Link wanted to bring the actual grubby key to the fight that's fine, but using it on the chest and taking the chest loot is definitely bending the rules
I mean... they get to decide the rules, and they both agreed, so I don't know why you're trying to tell them that they're wrong.

Idea: You can kill 25 of each monster in increments of 25 levels. So 25 of any monster from 1-25, 25 of a monster from 26-50, etc all the way up to level 200.
I like this idea, but start at a higher level, and go up to like level 300 or so. A lot of the upgraded slayer monsters are stupid high level (nechs, demonics, dragons etc)
This video was absolutely sick. I love the cancel idea. You both come in with great gear, and go into the final fight with not as great. Loved it, liked the video.

PvP Challenge: Do an auction but the twist is instead of buying weapons/armor, you buy monsters and a certain number of kills. For example, one of the auction items can be Zulrah for 15 kills then you both put up how much you think that is worth. I think it would allow for a lot of random drops and a much different mindset when deciding how to plan.

Interestingly.. I don't thing I've ever seen Rargh nor Link use runes that lower your opponents defence.. I understand that it reduces the amount of overall food in a fight.. but if u land it against an opponent that is in full rune, I imagine lowering their defence by 15%, 10%, or even 5% might be worth? Does anybody else have any thoughts on this?

I guess you could argue that it differs in that the grubby key does not require "modification"? At least not by skill. It's like an unknown loot drop within the key.

I have a suggestion for a challenge
This is something that was Done by the Runeshark duo back in the days, they had a Similar PVP challenge series that you’ve got and i thought it would be interesting to see you tackle it.
Start on your usual spot, no food, weapons or armour, you get one teleport from the normal spellbook to take you wherever you want.
1: you have 10 minutes to find and kill any monster you can think of, you may pick up items you find in the world and use that for the monster part.
2: take the level of the strongest monster you killed and multiply their combat level by 1000, that Is your budget for buying food, weapons and armour from any store you can think of.
You may only take the level from one monster, killing 2 lvl 40s does not give you 80k gold.
Fight!
This is a great idea. You should do another where you get to pick how many you get to kill. A lot of strategy can come from killing just one to block a monster vs killing a lot to get good gear.
Thatd be cool, like a set amount of monsters, say 15, and a set amount of kills, say 250, you have to do minimum of 15 unique monsters and can only do 250 kills between the 15, but you have to do at least 1 of each, so if you wanted to do 1 kill each for 14 monsters to block them, and then grind 236 of the 15th and hope the other didnt kill that one you could do that, or spread the kills out between the monsters as you see fit.100 kills of 2 monsters and the rest split between the other 13 etc
The grubby key pull seems against the rules if we can't use items. Still good ep

Do a goodie bag video next. Each of you go out and the first 28 combat related gear you receive you keep. After both invys are full, for the gear reveal you take turns picking 8 numbers. What ever number he calls is the item in your invy you wear. If he calls the number for a addy plate then 2 numbers later calls a rune plate you can choose to stay with addy or swap to rune.
Dont camp the same monster for more than 2 or 3 drops so you dont have a full invy of rune from rune or black drags

PvP challenge idea: Any duplicate drop you get, you have to give away, but only with items you decide to wear to the final fight. For example, if you get rune med helm, you have to avoid monsters that drop rune med helm, otherwise you run a risk of making the item obsolete by giving the opponent the same item. You also have a choice of not wearing it to the final fight, just because you don't want to give duplicate item to your opponent. Duplicates should be traded just before armor show off, so both players can rearrange their gear based on duplicate items they got from other player.
I call BS on using the grubby Key, if you can't get a poison and put it on another weapon, you can't use a grubby key.Had to use drop AS IS.. :/

PvP Challenge: Mini-Game for 3-4hrs (just because it takes longer for most)
Mini-game teleport allowed, require planning. Must do 2 PvM mini-games & 2 Skill mini-games for at least 30 minutes each. Can smith / skill to make gear or use shop. For instance could start Barb Assault to High Gamble or get Granite Body then sell to do Blast Furnace. Since so many options, can get seeds/herbs for any potion -- all 3 combat styles are possible. Eliminate all PvP (Bounty Hunter, etc.), but allow any clue scrolls found during event (could do Impetuous Imps). Can use any gear during mini-game, but only able to use rewards for fight.
Absolutely lost it when I saw link went to kill the drakes after you did and he was getting like every drop. Serves him right for having that good ass RNG as usual lmao 🤣 loved the video as always guys keep up the great work even though this episode is old as hell now, still love how you guys are still doing these and still coming up with new ideas all the time. Would love to see this type again though

You should have 2hrs to get whatever drops you wanted. However prior to the start you should predict what items the other person will end with (1 for each slot) if you predict a slot correctly then they have to remove that item for the final fight. Offers an extra level of mind games.

Who can PK the best PK set up... Then you fight! You each get to PK e.g. 3 people and you have to use all their gear and remaining supplies (plus basic food like lobsters) to fight each other at the end.
Here's another video idea. If you pull out the same item, such as a rune full helm, then that item is nullified and you have to use the next best drop you got, if you have one... and if that is also a duplicate of each other, it is nullified again. Would make for an interesting grind and a chance to try and wear unique armor.

You should try a 1-28 goody bag episode. So, you have something like the auction setup. Have a person with an inventory of 28 different weapons then choose one. Then do helm, body, legs, etc etc. until you have your random setup that you’ll fight in.
You could even do it for food too... choose one item and get 7 of it, and do that 4x. Etc
PVP Challenge. You both kill 10 different monsters 25 each and the other person gets to pick 1 equippable drop from that monster for you to keep.
Links in max gear gets like 5 demonic gorillas a trip LOL holy shit
Idea: You both have 50k to bid on monsters to kill via auction. Any money you have left over can be used in shops, but ONLY that money left over from the auction can be used, no alchs etc
Idea: Take one of the gearing rules from another episode (1000 total levels or 5 slayer tasks or something). But on the reveal whoever's turn it is to pick the slot can choose to veto the slot before the reveal. But they can only veto if they have that slot filled and maybe put a limit of 1 veto's each. That way you can veto a slot if you think you did worse than average but it could also backfire. Instead of veto's you could also do a swap instead.
Since going for the best drops is an obvious meta when drops from shared monsters are negated, you should do something with more strategy and guesswork. You should do a normal challenge, then be able to cancel each other's item's by guessing what is in each slot. This forces you to go with a non-meta build (or you can gamble with some reverse psychology).

Link starts once again with a monster what looks like an oversight. Gorillas should easily be considered into block list. And grubby key doesn't make sense. If you can't make anything, how come you can loot anything. But team rargh was hard for me again. Rargh spent too many tasks for just weapon-drops.
I noticed some of the season 3 'then we fight' aren't as strategic as previous seasons. The rules this episode seems weak or pointless since the detrimental part is equivalent for both parties thus no theoretical impact to the final fight and comes down to RNG for which party has better drops.
I suggest to add more twists to the rules e.g. kill 8 monsters in a set of order, whenever you kill the same monster whoever kills the monster last keeps the items and the other lose them all, if both at the same spot, they both lose/keep the items. I put 'last' instead if 'first' so both don't rush to secure core items like a rune scimmy.
It is funny how Rargh has a twisted bow, but not 99 prayer.

Have you guys done a bid challenge where you bid for certain monsters and X numbers of kills? Same as with the weapon/armour bidding, but with a random # of monsters.

No idea if they see these or if they would care but here are some ideas for content that might be in theme or spirit and would love to see be used in a challenge.
PvP Challange ideas:
Budget/fixed-income Builds? Start with x amount of gold and can only use shops or crafting from buying things from shops to create an inventory to PVP with. Another idea in a similar vein would be to make it to where they have to kill a certian number of beasts or loot from bossing x amount of times or for x amount of minutes to be the x amount of gold for the above idea.
Upgrade time? Start with x amount of time to money make/get items in F2P servers and then have a fraction of that time to turn it around into members gear on members servers for the actual fight. Money making and gear acquisition is usually much slower in F2P especially without the GE so it would require a lot of thought into how best to maximize the time available, it also would be a lot different to the normal progression that usually happens in episodes. Would work best if no guaranteed food was given, an example of this would be that it might be worth it to try getting the best F2P Food during that time instead of smithing decent meele gear for instance or going after pure money to tranisiton faster in members to try out scaling the power curve of what could be obtained in F2P. This as one of the challanges using UIM rules might be interesting. Maybe having the X amount of time to be in F2P and a fraction of that in members could also be they get X amount of time to gear up in members from scratch but they can decide before starting to substitute an amount of their choice of it for double/triple/etc that amount of time in F2P and would have to tell the other whether they were going to be doing it at all, which order they would be doing their time in, ie members first then F2P or vice versa in this scenario, and the exact amounts being done.
i'd have just ran around and killed 1 of each good monster and farmed my set-up from non-meta bosses and monsters, in hindsight

For a future video, kill X different sets of enemies Y times. The drops you get you have to alch for money and then the money you earn from the alchs you can only use on local stores of the monsters to purchase gear. Food drops can be kept. For example, money earned from Gargs would only be allowed to be spent in Morytania. Or even, Demonic Gorillas, you could purchase items off Ape Atoll.

You pick an seson 1 challenge and do the challenge again. Since you have much much more experience in doing this the task is to kill your past self or past rargh set up in the fastest time wins.
I think it would show how much better ya'll have gotten as well as rooting for the past seasons.
