    Anything Dr. Krishna sings becomes a melody. What to say about one of the most profound gems of Saint Tyagaraja?

    Does TMK know the meaning of this song at all ?

    • @mohanbala3743
      @mohanbala3743 2 года назад +4

      Bet he does Niel. Meaning is at multiple levels. In the content(lyrics), in the musicality of the compostion and umtimately the 'meaning' of this compositional experience of the composer. this is the estoric meaning that TMK usually operates at. It informs his aesthetic presentation. But all this just mumbo jumbo...if the rendition moves you in some way, shifts your state of existence by a half a degree, it will have 'meaning' to you. Meaning and Purpose is ultimately subjective....and you are the subject...as am I.

      @@lalitharampalli1627 his words and deeds remind me of the famous Sindhubhairavi movie song in Nathabhairavi raagam that Suhasini sang on stage
