And that was me yelling “Mortal Kombat!” as a joke at 22:23! I was surprised Jules could hear me, and I cracked up at his response. Loved it!
PS: …and I *can* name a song that’s actually from a Mortal Kombat game, not just the movie theme - but just one: “The Screaming Forest” from MK II.

…but yes, MK’s soundtrack definitely is nowhere near as memorable as anything from Street Fighter II.
PPS: It’s too bad MAGFest didn’t capture the mosh pit that broke out when “Gourmet Race” from Kirby Super Star was unleashed. That was so hilarious and so perfect for this incredible band and for everything magical MAGFest is. When and where else would you ever see that happen? So wild…

I think that whole left-center-front area managed to have at least a small circle pit for the majority of the set. I'm sad I didn't realize it until I was already almost out of energy. By the time I engaged I couldn't even last 30 seconds each attempt ;_;
Wasn't feeling the best to begin with but mostly it's cause I'm outta' shape. Navy me used to last entire songs! 😂 (not much better obvs but tbf the shows were far more intense than tame MAGFest)
