Just recently found your channel. Exactly what I’ve been looking for as I live in New Mexico and have been wanting to learn about desert bushcraft. Great videos man!
Looks like a nice little knive for smaller chores. I used to live in El Paso back in the 90s when I was stationed at Ft. Bliss and loved going out camping in west Texas/New Mexico. I like that you show how you're preparing fish and game, no one else really does that anymore. It's refreshing.
Thanks for sharing! our knife reviews really stand out from the other channels as were always out to show skills while reviewing them, so most of the time, we catch and cook wild game.
Tactical granny knife and feral apple slicer. Reminds me of what the old timers kept in their tackle box. A knife that 'went missing' from the kitchen when Ma wasn't looking.
Like--yummy. My favorite knife 🔪 is a ten dollar design bought at Tractor 🚜 Supply store. Cheap stainless steel and made only the one year, it is something that has lasted me years. I figure if I don't try to stick it in trees, throwing it, it'll last a long time.
Very handy little knife and good review. Reminds me of the Russell Green River paring knife I bought from TradeLodge which is becoming one of my favorites. Sometimes I don’t think we give these little knives their proper due. Looks like your friend came up with a winner.
Junkyard Fox The folks at TradeLodge told me they left their hunting knives at home by mistake and field dressed 2 Moose with their Green River paring knife. The guy on the RUclips channel Vinnies Day Off demonstrates building shelters, making tools, and processing wood for a fire with a variety of small pocket knives. I believe these little knives can do much more in the full scope of camping/hunting/fishing than we give them credit for, not just the intricate tasks. I believe your video helps demonstrate that. Thank you for sharing this knife and it’s capabilities with us.

Nice video. I recently bought a Becker BK-16, great little knife, not like I needed another knife :) As for a knife that size, I have my Buck Personal, and two Cold Steel neck knives, so I'm good. Oh, and why did you scale the trout? Best way to cook trout is wrap in aluminum foil with butter, salt, bit of pepper and garlic then toss on the coals, when its done even the skin is yummy to eat. Stay safe.
the less slime i have on my fish the better lol also, i know aluminum foil is used often but for some reason, i dont like to carry it, at least in the field.
Great video. Good to see you out again. And what a great stream. My mouth was watering big time when you ate that trout. Great knife, too. I can see how it would make a nice companion knife.

I do with the adventure craft came in a stainless steel of some sort, maybe AEBL which is relatively cheap and easy to heat treat. I’ve mainly used my adventure craft with edc tasks, boxes, in the shop, front porch whittling, food, so on. I should do an update video, my last video on it was only a fire prep and quick fire video. Not much on the entertainment level, but none the less.

Wow, you caught a lot a fish. I go fishing for 3 or 4 hours & am lucky to catch moss. I knew you were great on the harmonica when you did the campout video in your yard, the background music on this is awesome! Glad you collaborated with Cuervo. Good job. My only complaint about the video is that your food always looks so good and makes me hungry when I've already eaten and shouldn't be hungry, LOL. Take care & stay safe!
Man you caught more fish in 3 hours than I have in 15 years. 😆 Odd little knife but I can see where it could be handy. Thanks for the share! Glad to see you back out in NM! Hope we treated you well. Much love brotha
Damn brother that's a cool little utility knife even after the hard use I heard it pass thru all the layers of that onion that's some fantastic edge retention!!! White River knives is great I'm looking forward to seeing this model progress..
Just ran on to your channel. Watched several vids. Interesting. Common sense. Usually hate music in vids but yours is quiet, tasteful, and let's your voice be heard. Nice
I like the bird and trout knives as I call them. But I prefer un-coated stainless steel and with my bigger hands I think this slim handle would give me hand fatigue pretty quick. I like the simple belt carry system on the sheath.
I prefer the very cheap old hickory paring knife simply because I like cheap working man's knives and I don't feel like I've lost much if it gets forgotten or lost .
@@JunkyardFox yeah I like that knife as well , I'm like you I make the meal from game, fowl or fish add what I bring along to add and spice up. Simple cheap reliable camp blades are my norm.
