Introduce "collection log achievements" which as a reward provides a clue scroll box that holds a certain level of each clue style which improves as you increase your collection log achievement rank. Another reward from the achievements could be an increase in the chance of getting lower clue steps. This instead of clue drop chance since that's already in combat achievements.

Honestly, clues should work like it did in leagues: stackable, but only 1 active per tier at a time. You can add some restrictions, like only 5 at first and then increase the cap based on collection log or clue completions, but no stack defeats their intended purpose.
They're intended to be a "distraction/diversion" to break up grinds, but unlike the quick random events, clues are more of an "interruption and annoyance" currently. Especially since most people get them during slayer tasks, and they'd have to completely re-gear for 5-10 minutes, then get back to their task. And if you get a step you can't complete, then the whole process just feels worthless.
If you could stack a few to knock out at once, that's a lot more fun, since the time invested is more worthwhile. It would allow players to do them at a more natural pace, like when you bank between slayer tasks or resting your hand from pickpocketing.

Argument for stackable clues: Not everyone wants to do clues as soon as they get them, but at some point, people will do their clues. If they're stackable, you can rack up your clues without having to worry about missing out on them. When you want to take a break from grinding kc, you can take a day and do all of your clues. This will help prevent burnout and is a lot more efficient than stopping what you're doing to do a clue as soon as you get them. With this game being about no xp waste and efficiency, it's a no-brainer.

I think what others have said would be good. Stackable, but you must achieve something in game to activate it. RS3 has a quest called "you are it" which is a quest set up by Uri to free him from a curse (Uri is cursed to guard/help with the clue scrolls), though of course he is so happy after he is free that he just keeps doing it. It could be a reward for that kind of quest, a fairly easy with a guide no requirements quest about a few puzzles and going to a few locations across Gelinor. Chunk locked accounts wouldn't get it, but everyone else can choose to toggle it off after completing the quest if they want to not have it. And then there should be like 2 stack limit by default, and some other tasks like completing 50 of each tier of clue to increase the cap by 1-2 each tier.

Juggling should be removed by not allowing more than 1 clue scroll to drop while another is on the ground.
The entire purpose of clue scrolls to break up grinding with something spontaneous. If you let players stack clue scrolls. They will just continue their grind then go off and grind clue scrolls. Literally encouraging the opposite of it's intended purpose.
Just don't do them or pick them up if you aren't in the mood to do a clue. Like dismissing a random event.

@@shadowmilI hate this mindset of "just don't do the clue if u don't like the loot or don't want to stop your grind." It's toxic and elitist. I want to finish my slayer task especially if it's annoying to get to the task, and THEN do clues after. It's not that complicated I want(and many others want) to do both. If u want to treat clues as a break from content, be my guest, but don't gate keep those of us who hate having to stop a grind to do somthing that is locked so strictly like clues are. Let us enjoy the game? I don't see how stackable clues is harmful in any meaningful way.
      Pros of stackable clues:
      - You don't have to regear 30 times a slayer task
      - allows for doing clues in mass without having a 100b bank to buy ridiculously overpriced implings
      - saves loads of time in almost every instance
      Cons:
-some people may feel like they don't want to do clues anymore if they build a syack of them
(Solution: do your clues as u get them, basically like it currently works)
-Loot may become less valuable slightly(alot of the loot is alchables and the vast majority of unique are already trash anyway so this won't be anything significant)
-can make people who put in crazy amounts of effort juggling feel like they wasted their time(this is elitism and they should be happy with their accomplishment without hindering the masses who work full time jobs and just want to relax.)

Irons if they catch them... It's just quality of life at this point... If I have 2k eclectics, I have to open only few, do the clue, repeat... But with stackable clues it would make it quite nicer. Open all implings first and then do all the clues...

Part of the reason clue items are so expensive is because people are too lazy to do them. They have clues sat in the bank and dont get any drops. If people were allowed to stack clues, there would be an insensitive to just plough through the lot after you've built them up, lower clue reward prices overall. Then normal clues, like implings, that you will have to do as it is today. Might make some more people inclined to do more bossing. If that is well liked we can move to different methods of obtaining clues that can stack, mini-games or something, to encourage more interest in them. Yeah, not a fan of getting a hard clue in the middle of my slayer task and basically having to leave my location as an ironman to go get it done (this is a lot of extra travel/down time) just to get another like 10 -20 mins later, super delaying my focus on the slayer task I am currently enjoying. There are tons of times I'm working on something else off screen and just want to stay in 1 spot to do my slayer tasks etc. I think having it stack to at least 3 would remove me needing to delay my current task at hand to finished them out after. Also having them stack way higher would just be nicer anyways that way I can just have a Clue solving day session after like a week of slayer or something instead of having to interrupt what I want to do atm. Like I get people might gatekeep this idea because they have done a ton the old fashion way, but let's be honest... It would be huge quality of life change and people would be better off with it implemented than without. Also... Having 1 clue in your inv and then not being able to receive another is annoying, so you have to have this Drop timer meta which is seriously just ridiculous to play with.

My hot take is: stackable clues unlock after doing x-amount of each tier of clues. Like, if you do 50 beginner clues, you get to stack 2, 50 easy clues = 3 stack, all the way up to 6 stacks at master. This should be the bare minimum. This way, you can do an entire slayer task without having to juggle. Or tie it into combat achievements, though thematically, I'd rather we unlock each stack by doing clues themselves.

No, knowing jagex they would make it so u need to do 50 beginners before 50 easy counts. Rather do a number of stackable clues depending on how many you've done for that specific clue type. @@mrjojahoka9362 I really don't mind the details, so long as we can stack enough so that I can do slayer without being inconvenienced all the time.
The thing I love about clue scrolls is the FOMO, but having to go back and forth between slayer spots, often more than once per task, is just not fun.
I just think we should be able to stack at least 5 clues at the barest minimum, all the way up to 28 (either per tier or as a whole) at most.
Infinite stacking would most likely devalue most clue items--it works in Rs3 because there is item sinks for clue items, unlike OSRS.
IMO, 6 stacked clues of each tier would not really devalue anything in the long run, but I could be wrong.

Like, what, rare clue items will get cheaper? ...and? The prices have always been artificially inflated purely on how tedious and awful the clue system is. It's not like the entire economy will crash around us and the game will be ruined if a handful of people start doing clues more regularly. 3rd age picks will still be above max cash. 1/313k is still 1/313k.
