Chogada Raas | Bollywood Dance | Infusion 2024 | Seva Dance Choreography | 10 to 13 Years Old

INfusion 2024 is a Seva Dance Bollywood charity showcase put on by our choreographers: Megha and Ami and performed by the youth of Kansas City in support of local charities. This year our support was for Braden’s Hope for Childhood Cancer, an organization that provides critical funds for children’s cancer research. This year’s show raised $70,000 for this organization. Our next dance is a vibrant Raas performance inspired by the infectious energy of the song "Chogada." Raas is a traditional folk dance from the Indian state of Gujarat, typically performed during festivals, especially Navratri. It is usually danced in a circle, with participants using colorful sticks called "dandiya" to create rhythmic patterns and movements. Many of these kids had never used dandiyas before so you will be truly amazed at their skill set and what they learned over the past 2.5 months.
