We randomized our starters in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet! We'll then reveal the starter options to our opponent by their last learned attack, we then each pick until we have a full team, then we fight!

I really like the idea rich proposed. Being forced to put a Pokemon's final learned move on your moveset can be a double edged sword and that just adds to the fun
So not sure if anyone else has said this but Galarian Articuno's last move is Trick Room, regular Articuno has Sheer Cold for it's last move. Galarian Articuno doesn't even learn Sheer Cold.
Even worse chance to hit with it if it did.
somebody fumbled................
@@GameboyLukeummm I think it was you 😂
@@Marblegamingmasterit’s not last move it’s last attack
@@MarblegamingmasterTo be fair, he wasn't the one that put it onto that Articuno in the end. I don't get why they don't check for themselves while preparing their move set
2 things to note about stellar tera:
1. The STAB is 1.2x instead of the usual 1.5, unless the move used is the mon's original type in which case it is 2x.
2. The STAB only works once per type EXCEPT for a terra terapagos who retains these boosts at all times
I thought Tera Blast kept the extra stab bonus regardless at the price of an attack and special attack drop
@@mattycorah2227 if this is true it does not appear on bulbapedia
@@mattycorah2227 that is true i think
I wasn't sure if it did but I've never seen the damage range change when using it on malamar or serperior
Addendum to #2: the boost never expires in raid battles, regardless of the user.
Rich not wanting multiple ice types, only to get tera refrigerate was absolute gold. As well as the disappointment of the final Sheer Force hit not OHKOing due to focus sash, followed by the motor drive karma. My god, you can't script that lmao.
Can't believe Luke did that one move with that one pokemon...
That turn was one of the turns of the battle!
Stop spoiling it for me 😂
But when he did that other move with that other Pokémon
@@ImposterTurtle
That was another one of those turn of events!
i dont mind having the sponsor ad in-between the picking and battling, its a good spot for it. Much better than having it in-between picking rounds.
I just thought of a quite simple concept that could fit Luke. Simply doing the coin toss every time in the starter selection and if called correctly you can choose your mon yourself but if not the opponent chooses.
That first turn 🤣
Edit: And the focus sash sheer cold, omg 🤣🤣🤣
out of context Rich asking Luke to "Let me hit" is SENDING ME, lmao
19:23
Loved the frosmoth's name "nuh uh" 😂
Great video! I would love to see more of these as a "sabotage" type, where "We pick our OPPONENT's Pokemon only knowing . . ."
That may have been one of the most goated turn 1s I've seen in a TWB!!!
Good thing we have game boy Luke to make up for Vinny not posting for the past two weeks
16:09 hey so about not needing another ice type😂
No one is talking about how they missed the shiny pre-evo to baxcaliber 😂
Bro the magic bounce for the webs made me belly laugh. Also luke..cmon bro. Perish affects both sides man you know that. Great vid tho 😂
We need to implement this not randomize ability option for the Dolphin Hero (Palafin? Not sure if that's it or its pre-evo)
I was just going thru some of your old videos for something to watch and this guy drops. It’s like the heavens rewarding me 😇
Watching your videos always makes me happier! You are such a great inspiration and love the stuff you do! Hope you keep creating more! 😄
Still wanna see a Hood Cal v Luke Pokémon cries test lol
Should do it for the weirdest move a Pokémon learns. Like ones you would never think they would have
I’d love to see the whole “you get whatever the last learned move is” combined with being able to lie. Like, you can say that delibird’s last learned move is dark pulse but you better believe that that delibird is gonna have dark pulse when you fight it.
Luke with the big brain strats, no sticky webs for you
2:43 Fun fact: there isn't a single non-electric-type pokemon that gets Thunder via level-up
You might want to check the credits in the description. I don't think shady is here. Also Gyro Ball is a capital G, basically a J
Bro just left the fact there's a shiny fridgibax
I feel like this would be harder to guess the good Pokémon if they didn't say what level they learn their final move because anytime a 80 or 90 level move came around it was always a legendary. But love this idea.
The fact that rich got trolled so hard this battle has me in tears. 🤣 😂
I didn't know Iron Crown learned Hyper Beam! You learn some new Pokemon facts every day.
I haven’t watched RaidAway since BO4 but I didn’t know he played Pokémon.
I've never seen such an entertaining one sided battle 😂
Idk why Rich and Vinny do pokemon battle content. Everytime we see them in anyones video we already know they lose
rich's face for the sheer cold was priceless
Rich saying ‘why did you do that’ sounded so sad 😂
The teragapagos part was amazing, always play it like that
And the Zero to Hero Dolphin too
@@priestesslucy i don't think they can for Palafin as, after transforming, it doesn't gain a new ability unlike Terapagos. it stays Zero to Hero.
@@vvinterfiower I don't care if it winds up with a randomized ability or not after transforming so long as the dolphin boi gets to do his thing
I think this concept would have worked better if they weren’t told the levels the final move was learned, since legendaries usually learn the last move late.
Ima be honest adding the levels kinda removes the surprise from what mon. Most if not all legendaries get their final move in the 90's so you're basicly saying its a legendary then
Letting him use sheer cold on a sashed mon was premium disrespect 😂😂😂
Idea do same thing but you can choose which Mon has what move
Rich blatantly lying about Thunder had me dying
Perish Song Kricketune, the deadliest of delelelelelele-woooooops!
A good thing to remember, Legendary Pokemon almost ALWAYS have moves 70+
One of these times you should give information like this but then you can lie and say “okay you got a ___” and then give the opponent a chance to switch
Luke, you didn't need to disrespect him like that XD
damn luke! ofc as soon as I finish binging these another one comes out!
Ok you gave me an idea during this. You battle, but choose your mons based on the other person doing their cry 😂
Spoiler Shield! 🛡️
SPOILER SHIELD 🙏🛡️
shrek dies in endgame
How did this get here? I thought it existed only in QuickGG and Chillin's Channel
Thx
@@_ch0rdbro actually watches those cringe channels
THANK YOU
Luke's trolling game is strong
Holy heck, rich's first randomizer is nuts.
We choose our Starters judging by their Smogon Sets could be really fun
I just gotta say I was look in the description to see who was in the video and it currently says that shadypenguin is in the video but correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think he is 🤔
You guys should do a least move it learns but you can only have a moveset of the last four moves it learns
So many amazing reads in that battle!
You should make a video called “choose starter pokemon only knowing their *signature* move”
ooo imagine picking based on when they first appeared in the anime/manga great vid as usual!
The description says shady 😅
Think you should do this without telling them the level they learn it
Wow what absolute destruction… man’s got spanked like Luke was his daddy smh!
The edit on this is hilarious 😂
Raidaway takes bad RNG like a champ, compared to not mentioned lads.
After yesterday's live, seeing raiku there triggered me @3:57
This is amazing video and the other guy got so lucky I’d hate to be Luke in the battle
1:53 you're looking at regular Articuno, not Galarian, who learns Trick Room at lvl. 70
Sheer 👏 Cold 👏Gaming 👏
Honestly, what i dont like about this is that you two ended up picking not by move but by what level they learned the move since only really good pokemon learn anything really late
Me checking GBLs channel every week in hopes of new cagelocke/soullink/rivallocke series... sadge
I probably shouldn't be sharing this, but it'll be my first time watching while under the influence of lysergic acid diethylamide. Here's hoping someone will see this, and pass on the message that I'd love to see these challenges, but have the randomiser choose the movesets as well.
Edit: it was a fantastic watch, especially with tarapaghost (or however you spell it).
Love the Video Luke and Love you’re Content❤.
I feel like the next time y’all do a “last move they learn” video, don’t include the level they learn it at! You’ll get some more wacky Pokemon picks that aren’t just entirely based on “they learn a move at a really high level so that’s a legendary so I’m picking it”
Would love to see Luke challenge the Champ Wolfie
He'd get pissed on
@@FaneRPG Wolfi gets experience, Battle iq , Strategie and Adaptabilty
Luke gets IQ, unpridictablity and Hax ( Luck)
But while Wolfi would win i think that Luke with prep time could give Wolfi a Low mid diff Battle

@@lorekeeper685 what?
I desperately...desperately...need society to learn how to correctly pronounce Rayquaza. Please. On my hands and knees begging.
Ray-qwa-zuh
@@guacanolli3How is "quasar" pronounced? Quickly.
3 legends in one set is insane!
Does Luke's microphone sound like it's clipping/peaking?
Shadypenguinn’s cut looking different?! I don’t hate it though 😌
So i didn't read the title at first I thought it was they only knew they last move I was confused on why Luke said hyper beam til I reread 😂😂😂
*Still insanely lame that Dark Void is set back from 80% to 50% accurate...* which destroyed the whole move since it's less than hypnosis....
They saying zap cannon is magneton signature move while other 25 mons learn it 💀
Is it weird that I only watch these for the picking starters and not for the battle
Man Rich got shafted in this video 😂
Poor Rich this battle was bullying
19:23 - 20:05 for "For The Video"
Raid Away’s team basically is 4 powerful legendaries and then 2 bug Pokémon
When you land a OHKO move and it doesn't even kill
Tera sandstorm is super effective aginst terestalised Pokemon, regardless of the tera type
Stellar tera gives you 20% boost on non stab moves, one of the reasons why it's so bad
nah that second round was crazy!! 1 really good mon (idk if its a pseudo) 1 mythical and 1 legendary and its not even normal articuno its articuno but better
I think he was thinking of Dragon Ascent for Rayquaza.
When he said gyro ball, what is that. Its a steel type move with no actual power, its like iron press but it uses speed, however much slower you are than the target is how much stronger it is, i think it starts at 50bp actually tho
Might have to update the video's description. It says featuring @shadypenguinn 😆
FYI the description says featuring shadypenguin
How do you randomize this?
Who knew that Shady was in this video based on the description lol
I like the idea of having to use the last move the mon gets that was a good idea from rich
The boosts always work for terropogos.
What if they re-did this video but the Pokémon could ONLY use the last move jt learns.
rich’s whole team is legendaries and bugs 💀
Let's goo! a new vid!
Shoulda tricked on the target item that makes it impossible to miss
